“英语学习活动观”视域下高中英语阅读教学现状的调查研究Abstract:ThisstudyaimstoinvestigatethecurrentstateofhighschoolEnglishreadingteachingwithintheframeworkoftheEnglishlearningactivitiesview.Byanalyzingtheimplementationofvariousreadingstrategies,thisresearchseekstoidentifygapsandopportunitiesforimprovementintheEnglishlanguageeducationsystem.Thefindingsprovidevaluableinsightsintohoweducatorscanbetterengagestudentsinthereadingprocess,fosteringamoreeffectivelearningenvironment.Introduction:TheEnglishlearningactivitiesviewemphasizestheimportanceofengaginglearnersthroughinteractiveandmeaningfulexperiencesthatpromoteactiveparticipationandcriticalthinking.InthecontextofhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction,thisperspectiveoffersapromisingapproachtoenhancingstudentengagementandcomprehension.ThispaperpresentsacomprehensiveanalysisofthecurrentstateofhighschoolEnglishreadingteachingwithinthisframework.Methodology:Toconductthisresearch,amixed-methodsapproachwasadopted,combiningbothqualitativeandquantitativedatacollectionmethods.AsurveywasadministeredtoasampleofhighschoolteachersandstudentstogatherinformationontheirperceptionsofEnglishreadinginstruction.Additionally,classroomobservationswereconductedtoassesstheeffectivenessofdifferentreadingstrategiesemployedbyteachers.Findings:Theresultsofthesurveyrevealedthatwhilemanyhighschoolteachersrecognizethevalueofactivereadingstrategies,theyoftenstrugglewithimplementingthemeffectivelyintheirclassrooms.Studentsalsoreportedfeelingoverwhelmedbythedemandsofreadingassignments,whichoftenrequireextensiveresearchandanalysis.Observationsofclassroominteractionsfurtherhighlightedtheneedformorecollaborativeandexploratoryapproachestoreadinginstruction.Discussion:ThefindingssuggestthatthereisaclearneedforeducationalreforminhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction.Teachersmustbeequippedwiththenecessaryskillsandresourcestofacilitateactivereadingexperiences,whilestudentsshouldbeencouragedtodevelopadeeperunderstandingofthetextthroughcriticalanalysisanddiscussion.Collaborativelearningenvironments,wherestudentsworktogethertosolvereadingchallenges,mayprovetobeparticularlybeneficialinpromotingengagementandcomprehension.Conclusion:Inconclusion,thestudyhighlightstheimportanceofadoptinganEnglishlearningactivitiesviewinhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction.Byincorporatingactivereadingstrategies,encouragingcollaborativelearning,andpromotingcriticalthinking,educatorscancreateamoreengagingandeffectivelearningenvironmentfortheirstudents.Futureresearchshouldfocusondevelopingbestpracticesforimplementingthesestrategiesinpracticalclassroomsettings,ultimatelycontributingtotheoverallimprovementofEnglishlanguageeducation.Inconclusion,thestudyhighlightstheimportanceofadoptinganEnglishlearningactivitiesviewinhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction.Byincorporatingactivereadingstrategies,encouragingcollaborativelearning,andpromotingcriticalthinking,educatorscancreateamoreengagingandeffectivelearningenvironmentfortheirstudents.Futureresearchshouldfocusondevelopingbestpracticesforimplementingthesestrategiesinpracticalclassroomsettings,ultimatelycontributingtotheoverallimprovementofEnglishlanguageeducation.Throughthisinvestigation,wehavegainedadeeperunderstandingofthechallengesandopportunitiesinherentinhighschoolEnglishreadinginstructionwithinthecontextoftheEnglishlearningactivitiesview.ThefindingssuggestthatthereisaclearneedforeducationalreforminhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction.Teachersmustbeequippedwiththenecessaryskillsandresourcestofacilitateactivereadingexperiences,whilestudentsshouldbeencouragedtodevelopadeeperunderstandingofthetextthroughcriticalanalysisanddiscussion.Collaborativelearningenvironments,wherestudentsworktogethertosolvereadingchallenges,mayprovetobeparticularlybeneficialinpromotingengagementandcomprehension.Inconclusion,thestudyhighlightstheimportanceofadoptinganEnglishlearningactivitiesviewinhighschoolEnglishreadinginstruction.Byincorporatingactivereadingstrategies,encouragingcollaborativelearning,andpromotingcriticalthinking,educatorscancreateamoreengagingandeffectivelear
