自动评分系统反馈在高中英语写作教学中的影响——一项基于AimWriting的实证研究Abstract:ThisstudyaimstoexploretheinfluenceofautomatedscoringsystemsonhighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction.ByutilizingAimWriting,asoftwaretoolthatautomaticallygradesstudentessaysbasedonpredefinedcriteria,weexaminehowthesetoolscanenhanceteachingeffectivenessandimprovestudents'writingskills.Ourfindingssuggestthatwhileautomatedscoringsystemscanprovideobjectivefeedback,theymayalsoleadtoalackofcriticalthinkingandanalysisinstudents.Therefore,itiscrucialforeducatorstobalancetheuseofautomatedtoolswithtraditionalgradingmethodstoensurethatstudentsreceivecomprehensivefeedbackanddeveloptheirwritingabilitieseffectively.Introduction:Inrecentyears,therehasbeenagrowinginterestinusingtechnologytoenhanceeducationalpractices.OneareawherethisisparticularlyevidentisintherealmofEnglishwritinginstruction.Withtheadventofautomatedscoringsystems,educatorsarenowabletoprovidestudentswithimmediatefeedbackontheirwritingassignments.However,theimpactofthesesystemsonstudentlearninganddevelopmentremainslargelyunexplored.ThisstudyseekstofillthisgapbyexaminingtheeffectsofAimWriting,apopularautomatedscoringsystem,onhighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction.Methodology:ToinvestigatetheimpactofAimWritingonhighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction,weconductedanempiricalstudyusingamixed-methodsapproach.Werecruited100highschoolstudentsfromdifferentEnglishwritingclassesacrossthreeschoolsinthecity.Eachstudentwasrandomlyassignedtoeitheranexperimentalgroup(n=50)oracontrolgroup(n=50).TheexperimentalgroupreceivedAimWritingfeedbackontheirwritingassignments,whilethecontrolgroupreceivedtraditionalgradingbasedonasetofpredefinedcriteria.Datacollection:Wecollecteddatathroughacombinationofquantitativeandqualitativemethods.Forquantitativedata,weusedpre-andpost-testscorestomeasurechangesinstudentwritingskills.Additionally,wecollectedfeedbackfromteachersandstudentsregardingtheirperceptionsoftheautomatedscoringsystem.Forqualitativedata,weconductedsemi-structuredinterviewswithstudentsandteacherstogaininsightsintotheirexperienceswiththesystem.Results:OurfindingsrevealedseveralkeyfindingsregardingtheimpactofAimWritingonhighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction.Firstly,studentswhoreceivedAimWritingfeedbackshowedsignificantimprovementsintheirwritingskillsasmeasuredbytheirpre-testscores.Specifically,theydemonstratedhigherlevelsofvocabularyusage,moresophisticatedgrammarstructures,andclearerorganizationofideas.Secondly,teachersreportedthatAimWritingprovidedthemwithvaluableinsightsintotheirstudents'strengthsandareasforimprovement.Thirdly,studentsexpressedpositivesentimentstowardsthesystem,viewingitasahelpfultoolforimprovingtheirwritingskills.However,ourstudyalsoidentifiedsomelimitationstotheuseofAimWriting.Whilestudentsbenefitedfromthefeedback,somefounditdifficulttointerpretthesystem'soutputandengageincriticalthinkingabouttheirwriting.Additionally,someteachersfeltthatthesystemwastoorigidanddidnotalwayscapturethenuancesofindividualstudentwritingstyles.Conclusion:Overall,ourstudysuggeststhatAimWritingcanbeausefultoolforenhancinghighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction.Byprovidingstudentswithimmediatefeedbackontheirwritingassignments,itcanhelpthemidentifyareasforimprovementanddeveloptheirwritingskillsmoreeffectively.However,itisessentialforeducatorstobalancetheuseofautomatedtoolswithtraditionalgradingmethodstoensurethatstudentsreceivecomprehensivefeedbackanddeveloptheirwritingabilitieseffectively.Assuch,futureresearchshouldcontinuetoexplorethepotentialbenefitsanddrawbacksofvariousautomatedscoringsystemsandhowtheycanbeintegratedintoeffectiveEnglishwritinginstruction.Inconclusion,thefindingsofthisstudyhighlightthepotentialbenefitsofusingAimWritinginhighschoolEnglishwritinginstruction.Whileitprovidesstudentswithimmediatefeedbackandenhancestheirwritingskills,italsoraisesconcernsaboutthelackofcriticalthinkingandanalysisthatmayarisefromrelyingsolelyonautomatedtools.Therefore,itiscrucialforeducatorstobalancetheuseofautomatedtoolswithtraditionalgradingmethodstoensurethatstudentsreceivecomprehensivefeedbackand
