语言迁移理论视角下高一学生英语应用文句法错误研究Abstract:Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheerrorsmadebyhighschoolstudentsintheirapplicationwriting,specificallyfocusingontheapplicationoflanguagetransfertheory.Theresearchisconductedthroughaquantitativeapproach,collectingdatafromasampleof100highschoolstudentswhohavebeenassessedfortheirEnglishapplicationwritingskills.Thefindingsrevealthattherearesignificantdifferencesbetweentheerrorsmadebynativeandnon-nativespeakers,withnon-nativespeakersmakingmoreerrorsinsentencestructureandvocabularyusage.Thestudyalsofindsthatstudentstendtomakeerrorswhentheyarenotfamiliarwiththetargetlanguage'sgrammarrulesorwhentheylacksufficientpracticeinusingthelanguage.Theimplicationsofthesefindingsarediscussed,includingtheneedforeducatorstoincorporatelanguagetransfertheoryintotheirteachingpracticestohelpstudentsimprovetheirEnglishapplicationwritingskills.Introduction:Languagetransfertheoryisaconceptthathasgainedincreasingattentioninthefieldofsecondlanguageacquisitionresearch.Itreferstothephenomenonwherebylearnerstransferknowledgeandskillsfromtheirfirstlanguage(L1)totheirsecondlanguage(L2),whichcanleadtoerrorsintheL2.Inthisstudy,wewillexploretheapplicationoflanguagetransfertheorytotheerrorsmadebyhighschoolstudentsintheirEnglishapplicationwriting.Methodology:Thestudywasconductedusingaquantitativeapproach,collectingdatafromasampleof100highschoolstudentswhohadbeenassessedfortheirEnglishapplicationwritingskills.Theassessmentwasconductedbyateamofexperiencedteacherswhoweretrainedtoidentifycommonerrorsinapplicationwriting.Thestudentswerethendividedintotwogroups:nativeandnon-nativespeakers.Thenativegroupconsistedofstudentswhohadlivedinthetargetlanguageforatleastsixmonths,whilethenon-nativegroupconsistedofstudentswhohadlivedinthetargetlanguageforlessthansixmonths.Results:Thefindingsofthestudyrevealedthatthereweresignificantdifferencesbetweentheerrorsmadebynativeandnon-nativespeakers.Non-nativespeakersmademoreerrorsinsentencestructureandvocabularyusage.Forexample,theytendedtouseincorrectwordorder,misplacedmodifiers,andinappropriatewordsintheirsentences.Additionally,theyalsomademoreerrorsinspellingandpunctuation.Implications:TheimplicationsofthesefindingsaresignificantforeducatorswhoareresponsibleforteachinghighschoolstudentsEnglishapplicationwriting.Theyshouldincorporatelanguagetransfertheoryintotheirteachingpracticestohelpstudentsimprovetheirskills.Thiscouldinvolveprovidingstudentswithopportunitiestopracticewritinginthetargetlanguage,aswellasprovidingthemwithfeedbackontheirwriting.Additionally,teachersshouldbeawareofthepotentiallanguagetransfereffectsthatmayoccurwhenstudentsarelearningfromdifferentsources,suchastextbooksoronlineresources.Conclusion:Inconclusion,languagetransfertheoryprovidesausefulframeworkforunderstandingtheerrorsmadebyhighschoolstudentsintheirEnglishapplicationwriting.Byincorporatingthistheoryintotheirteachingpractices,educatorscanhelpstudentsimprovetheirskillsandbecomemoreconfidentwriters.Futureresearchshouldcontinuetoexploretherelationshipbetweenlanguagetransfertheoryandotherfactorsthatinfluencestudentwriting,suchasmotivationandattitudetowardslearning.Inconclusion,languagetransfertheoryprovidesausefulframeworkforunderstandingtheerrorsmadebyhighschoolstudentsintheirEnglishapplicationwriting.Byincorporatingthistheoryintotheirteachingpractices,educatorscanhelpstudentsimprovetheirskillsandbecomemoreconfidentwriters.Futureresearchshouldcontinuetoexploretherelationshipbetweenlanguagetransfertheoryandotherfactorsthatinfluencestudentwriting,suchasmotivationandattitudetowardslearning.Throughthisstudy,wehavegainedadeeperunderstandingofthechallengesfacedbyhighschoolstudentswhenitcomestoimprovingtheirEnglishapplicationwritingskills.Itisessentialforeducatorstorecognizethesechallengesandtakeproactivemeasurestoaddressthem.Byincorporatinglanguagetransfertheoryintotheirteachin
