(MLMCCs)

wereestablishedashospitalwomen-onlycentresinKabulandLogarprovinces.Exclusivelyledandmanagedby

skilledcommunitymidwives,theyreached89,447individuals,almostall

womeninneedof

maternitycare.Over2,500femalefront-line

workersatsexualandreproductivehealthfacilitiesandWomenandGirlFriendlySafeSpacesdeliveredessential

reproductivehealthandpsychosocialsupportservices.Theyreached12.2millionindividuals,of

whom80percent

were

womenandgirls,across

the34provincesofAfghanistan.ThefirstWomen-ledOrganizationStrategyforAfghanistan

wasdevelopedin2025.Itprovidesaframeworktoadvancelocalization

throughmeaningful,equitable,ethicalandsafe

engagementwith

women-ledactorsacrossall

programmelevels.2025AFGHANISTANTheFamilyHealthHouses(FHH)Strategy2026–2030

wasdevelopedin2025,providinga

strategicroadmapforfutureexpansion,quality

improvementandsustainabilityofcommunity-

basedhealthfacilitiesinremoteareas.Astrategy

wasdevelopedtoensuredisability

inclusionbecomesanintegralandsystematic

partofUNFPACountryOffice

work

withpartners,

withanactionplanandindicatorsto

guideprogramming.

DisasterManagementandReliefincorporated

SRHissuesintotheNationalDisasterPreparednessandResponsePlan(2026–2030),

ensuringemergencyservicesareintegratedinto

humanitarianresponse.TheMinistryofHealthandFamily

Welfareendorsedanddisseminated

theBangladeshNationalFamilyPlanningStrategy2025–2030.Itoutlinessevenstrategicpriorities

alignedtoICPD25+,FP2030and

theSustainableDevelopmentGoals,

withacostedimplementation

plandeveloped

tooperationalize

thestrategy.Bangladeshaccepted211UniversalPeriodicReviewhumanrightsrecommendations,over70

focusedongenderequalityandgender-based

violence.Asystematictrackingmechanism

was

establishedacrossmorethan25ministries.111

facilitiesinprioritydistrictsprovidedsurvivor-centredresponseservices,reaching83,352

womenandgirls

withcasemanagement,

psychosocialsupport,legalservicesandinformation.2025BANGLADESHTwolandmarkordinances–onpreventionofsexualharassmentin

workplacesandeducational

institutions,andonpreventionofdomesticviolence–

wereapprovedbytheAdvisoryCouncil.TheFamilyPlanningStrategy2026–2030forRohingyarefugeeswasdevelopedbytheSexual

andReproductiveHealthWorkingGroup.10

workplace

wasinstitutionalized

withintheRoyalCivilServiceCommission.ThiswasaccomplishedthroughthedevelopmentandimplementationofStandardOperatingProceduresforsexualharassmentpreventionand

responseinthecivilservice,fosteringsaferand

moreinclusive

workenvironments.ByleveragingSouth–Southcooperation,reproductivechoicesexpandedinalow-fertilitycontextthroughtheinstitutionalizationoftheregistrationandclinicalrolloutofcontraceptive

implants.This

wassupportedbyspecializedskills

developmentforgynaecologists,enablinghigh-

qualityservicedeliveryacrossfourkeyhospitals.ThenationalStandardOperatingProcedureon

gender-based

violence(GBV)preventionand

response

wasrevisedtointegratemeasuresaddressingtechnology-facilitatedGBVinemergencies,ensuringacomprehensiveprotectionframework.Multisectoralcoordinationmechanismsforgender-based

violencepreventionandresponse

werestrengthenedandarenowfunctionalin18of20districts,ledbydistrictgovernorsand

implementedincollaboration

withtheWorld

HealthOrganizationandUNICEF.AdraftNationalPopulationDevelopmentStrategy

wasdevelopedtoadvancearights-

based,evidence-informedapproachtofertility,ageing,

voluntaryfamilyplanningand

populationdynamics.TheNationalDataGovernanceFrameworkwasestablishedtostrengtheninstitutionalaccountabilitybyimprovingthequality,availabilityanduseofdisaggregateddatafor

monitoringanddecision-making.Key

wasfinalizedacrosssixstrategic

pillars,awaitingsubmissiontotheCouncilof

Ministersforadoption.TheupdatedMaternalandPerinatalDeathSurveillanceandResponseprotocol

wasendorsedandrolledoutnationwide,requiringnotificationofmaternaldeaths

withinthreehours

andstructuredreviews

within72hours.Cambodiabecamethefirstcountryintheregion

toadaptandrolloutthelatestUnitedNationsMPDSRguidance

withinthenationalhealth

system,

with43maternaland117perinatal

deathsreviewed.Domesticfinancingforcontraceptiveprocurementincreased,strengtheningnational

ownershipoffamilyplanning.Over251,700adolescentsand

TanzaniaandUganda.The4thChina–AfricaConferenceonPopulation

DynamicsfacilitatedSouth–Southexchangesandproducedacommitmenttoimprovepopulation

dataandmodelling,usedigitaltoolsforhealthanddemographicpolicies,implementpeople-centredprojects,andstrengthencoordinationforsustainabledevelopmentandpopulationhealth.The“GuidanceManualforHealthCareInterventionsinCasesofViolenceAgainstWomen”

wasfinalizedand

validatedthroughpilotsinHunanandShandongprovinces,establishingstandardizedsurvivorcarealigned

withtheEssentialServicesPackage.Twokeypartnerships

wereestablished:

withoperationalrolloutscheduledfor

April.TheCentralBureauofStatisticsdeveloped

areferencebookonregister-basedcensusmethodologiesandtrainingstaffto

institutionalizeinternationalbestpractices.Theaim

wastostrengthennationalcapacitytotransitiontowardsmoreefficient,data-integrated

censusmethodologies.MinimumInitialServicePackagetraining

wasexpandedtosevenprovincesandthreecitiesto

strengthenemergencysexualandreproductive

healthpreparedness,buildingtheskillsof74healthcareprofessionals(39females)astrainersandenabling

2025INDONESIAThe2025nationaltechnicalguidelinesformanagementofsexuallytransmittedinfections

werefinalizedandsubmitted,providingaunifiedclinical,logistics,partnernotification

andmonitoringframework.Theframeworkinstitutionalizescomprehensive,rights-based

HIVpreventionforfemalesexworkers

within

decentralizedhealthsystems.ThefirstnationallifetableforIndonesia

waspublished,providingage-andsex-disaggregated

mortalityandlifeexpectancyestimatesandestablishinganationalreferenceformoreaccuratedemographicanalysisandsubnational

planningacrosshealth,socialprotectionandeconomicsectors,inline

withthe“leavenoonebehind”principle.Adigitaltooldevelopedtomonitoremergencyobstetricandnewborncare(EmONC)resultedin

over1,070Puskesmas(government-mandated

communityhealthcentres)and92hospitalsroutinelyreportingservicefunctionality,enablingtargetedresponsestocriticalgapsinskills,suppliesandreferralreadiness.Nationaladoptionofanelectroniclogisticsmanagementinformationsystem(e-LMIS)now

enablesreal-timemonitoringofcontraceptive

availabilityacross513warehousesand19,192

healthfacilities,significantlyreducingtherisk

ofstockouts.AMinisterialRegulationonReproductiveHealth

formallymandatesarights-basedapproachto

familyplanning,

withrights-basedprinciplesintegratedintomidwiferycurriculaacross22

nationalreferenceinstitutions.MinisterofHealthRegulationNo.2/2025

was

issuedexplicitlytoaddressfemalegenitalmutilation,

withderivativeregulationsunderdevelopmenttooperationalizefollow-uphealth

servicesforsurvivorsofsexual

certificationframeworktoprofessionalizethenational

workforcesupportingolderadults.2,779individualsfromAfghanrefugeeandhost

communities

withmentalhealth

andpsychosocialsupport(MHPSS)services.Individualandgroupcounsellingsessions

were

providedatMulti-purposeServiceCentresinAlborz,GolestanandTehranprovinces.Nationalguidelinesontheprovisionofsocialservicestopregnantandlactatingwomen,includingcashassistanceinterventions,

weredeveloped

withUNFPAsupportandarecurrently

beingusedbyStateWelfareOrganizationsocial

workers.Approximately50healthfacilitiesinAlborz,Golestan,EsfahanandTehranprovinces,were

equipped

withessentialmedicalequipmentandsuppliesprocuredbyUNFPAtostrengthen

emergencyresponsecapacityattheservicedeliverylevel.TheAge-FriendlyEnvironmentsinitiative

was

scaledto18provincesthroughcross-sectoral

provincialcommitteesandresourceleveraging

bytheNationalCouncilofOlderPersons,significantlyexceedingthecumulativetarget.Key

topopulationanddevelopment.ThemSupplylogisticsmanagementsystembecameoperationalandaccessibleacross18provinces,encompassing189locationsincluding

thenational

warehousecentre,fivehospitals,twoprovince-levelpharmacies,andpharmacyfacilitiesatprovincialanddistricthospitallevels.TheDemographicDividendRoadmap2025–2030

wasfinalizedthroughaparticipatoryprocessinvolvingallrelevantgovernmentsectors,providingaclear,actionableandtime-boundstrategytoleveragethedemographic

windowfor

acceleratedsocioeconomicdevelopment.TheOut-of-SchoolComprehensiveSexuality

Education(CSE)Roadmapwasendorsed.Inaddition,theout-of-schoolCSEcurriculumand

facilitator’sguide

werefinalizedandapprovedfor

pilotrolloutbytheMinistryofEducation.Thecountry’sfirstdigitalPopulationandHousingCensusachieveda99.06percentbuildingcompletionrate,coveringnearly3.08

millionbuildings.Comprehensivesexualityeducation

was

integratedintothesecondarycurriculum
