2、a lawyers family at Cockermouth, Cumberland, part of the scenic region in north-west England, in the Lack District. His father was John Wordsworth, Sir James Lowthers attorney - the fifth Baronet Lowther was the most feared and hated aristocrat in all of Cumberland and Westmoreland. His mother died

3、when he was only eight, and his father followed her six years later.,Educational background,With the help of his relatives, Wordsworth was sent to school at Hawkshead in the beautiful lake district in Northwestern England.
