Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.Section A (3a-3c)【教学目标】知识目标1.学习并掌握以下单词或短语:down, dialogue, ending, documentary, drama, plenty, plenty of, shut, shut off, superhero, once in a while 2. 掌握并会运用下列重要句型:1) While some people stick to only one kind of movies, I like to watch different kinds depending on how I feel that day.2) When Im down or tired, I prefer movies that can cheer me up.3) But they try their best to solve their problems.4) Laughing for two hours is a good way to relax. 5) Documentaries like March of the Penguins which provide plenty of information about a certain subject can be interesting,6) I dont mind action movies like Spider Man when Im too tired to think.7) I can just shut off my brain8) Once in a while, I like to watch movies that are scary. 9) But Im too scared to watch them alone. 10) It doesnt feel so scary anymore. 能力目标:1. 让学生进一步熟练掌握that/ which/ who引导的定语从句,并学会使用定语从句来表达自己的好恶。2. 提高学生的阅读能力。情感目标:1) 阅读短文,能按要求获取相关的信息。2) 通过阅读训练来提高学生们的阅读能力。3) 能用定语从句表达自己的喜好, 并能对自己过的电影,听过的CD等进行描述。【重点难点】 1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词down, dialogue, ending, documentary, drama, plenty, plenty of, shut, shut off, superhero, once in a while 2) 学会用that/which/who引导的定语从句描述自己喜好2. 教学难点:学会用that/which/who引导的定语从句描述自己喜好【教学方法】任务型教学法【教学过程】I. 复习热身1. Revision 1) sing along with 随着歌唱What about you? 你呢?dance tomusic 跟着音乐跳舞have spare time 有空闲时间in that case 若是那样的话think about 考虑2) Work in pairs. Read and write the new words. 1) 正音:学生齐读单词,有突出问题的单词由老师正音,然后重点强调,齐读。2) 听写: down, dialogue, ending, documentary, drama, plenty, plenty of, shut, shut off, superhero, once in a while 让学生以小组为单位互相批改,小组长报告检查情况。表扬优异者,对于出错的单词,教师结合单词结构,读音规则帮助学生识记生词。同时讲解个别单词:You reminds me of my brother. This reminds us of what we often did when we were children. Tell the students that remindofmeans cause sb. to think of sth.3. Warming up1)引导学生使用常用句型:What kind of do you like? I like movies thatI love music thatI prefer movie stars who .2) 展示表示电影类型的词汇。II. ReadingI) Pre-reading教师活动:通过询问“What kind of movie do you like ?”,引导学生复习由that引导的定语从句的用法,让学生试着用定语从句的句型回答。学生活动:跟着老师的提示,用定语从句回答自己喜欢什么种类的电影。句型结构:I like movie thatI love music thatI prefer movie that I prefer movies thatFirst ask individually, then have the children to ask their classmates around them.II) While-reading1 . Scanning教师活动:阅读方法指导 1) 快速阅读全文, 注意每段话的首句, 有利于理解每段的段落大意。2) 把含有定语从句的句子画出来, 帮助你理解并完成阅读任务。学生活动:Work on 3a. Fill in the chart. List the different kinds of movies and the movie names. Kinds of moviesMovie names2. Fast reading 教师活动:Read the passage fast again and answer the questions in 2b.1. How does the writer describe each kind of movie?2. What kinds of movies does the writer prefer to watch when he or she is sad or tired?3. How does the writer feel after watching these movies?4. Does the writer like scary movies?
