英语(新标准) 高中教材必修1 第5模块阅读教学设计教案教学内容Book 1 Module 5 A lesson in a lab Period 2 Reading and Vocabulary 授课时间 45 分钟教材分析本课时教的是高一上学期使用的必修1 第5 模块A lesson in a lab 中Reading and Vocabulary 部分的内容, 是本模块的第2 课时。 本部分将继续引入与本模块主题相关的词汇,并通过两个练习(Passage A 和 Passage B)使学生熟悉这些词汇,同时这些练习也为接下来的阅读活动作铺垫,介绍了金属氧化反应,并列出了显示部分活动性能的表格。围绕课文,设计了六个与课文内容和词汇有关的练习 。 通过这些学习,学生可以熟悉课文内容和学会使用有关词汇。教学目标题材目标本课时简单介绍了金属氧化反应并列出了显示金属活动性能的表格。使学生了解和学会使用科技,实验有关的词汇和知识。培养学生用英语思考和表达的基本技能 , 增加语言运用的真实感,使学生体验到语言的工具性使用。语言知识目标Teaching Points ( 教学重点)1.Encourage the students to talk about science as well as science subject .2.Help the students make sense of the two passages3.Help the students to improve their reading ability Difficult Points (教学难点)1.Lead the students to talk in class actively 2.Deal with some difficult language points Teaching methodology and strategies (教学方法与策略)1.Learner-centered Approach 2.Task -based Learning Teaching aids and materials (教学手段)A multi-media computer , textbooks and students page ,some experiment equipment Important words and expressions ( 重点掌握的词汇和表达) Exist expand electricity Contract difference equipment Metal heat burn React form substance Addto at the bottom at the top Keepout of make sure find out Put in order think of react with语言技能目标能够听懂读课文,识别本模块中的生词和词语并能理解其所在句子的含义,能运用所学的词汇和句子正确的表达实验报告。情感目标在对课文的讨论及实验展示中培养学生对科学的热爱和实事求是的科学态度,并在活动中发展学生的合作精神。学习策略在阅读中根据课文提出的问题.通过浏览、精读的练习提高学生的阅读技能以及信息推理、判断能力,通过演示、讲解实验来发展学生实际语言运用能力。文化意识了解和学会使用与科技,实验有关的词汇和知识,培养科学的认识和态度。教学策略本课时主要以阅读教学为主线,以任务型教学模式培养学生的阅读理解策略,主要分为两类活动:一类活动的任务是针对性地训练阅读技巧,这些技巧包括预测所读内容,抓住主题大意,抓住特定细节,根据上下文猜词义,推断隐含意义识别语段过程等。另一类 活动的任务是表达与展示,小组活动并由小组代表讲解文中所给的实验,在展示中检验和指导学生自主学习能力和语言应用的实际操作能力。同时针对学生阅读理解障碍,在教学中进行知识的输入、技能的培养和文化意识的渗透,以及良好学习策略的指导。 教学过程Step1Organization for classStep2 Teaching of the new lessonPreTask About 10Get to know a number of vocabulary concerning science and technology as well as experimentActivity11 put the student into groups of have a discussion about describing a recent scientific experiment in some limited time 2 When time is up, ask two representatives from each group one is to give a report and the other is to write down as many words on the blackboard as they have recited on page 41 to page 46SubstanceEquipmentOthersMetalsPotassiumSodium CalciumMagnesiumZincCopperaluminumBalanceCrucibleTongs tubeStageConclusionNAimReactionReactsRustBoilSteamFloatDissolveform3 Ask students to check these answers and together with them complete the table below设计目的:检查词汇记忆做好阅读的导入工作即激活,通过共同合作填表格的方式激活学生相关的背景知识,通过合作学习,培养合作精神和激发学生的学习兴趣。Activity2Word-study1 Review the words listed on the table and get to know more usages about these new words by using CDROM设计说明;词汇学习把相关的内容联系在一起,方便学生记忆,同时扫除新课中可能的障碍并使学生自然进入主题。WhileTask 20Read passage A to get the students to have a deeper understanding of the passage . Show the correct answer on the screen 设计目的:检测和指导学生对文章的概括,提高学生分析文章脉络,理解文章,主题的能力Activity 3Colorful readingAsk student to do activity 31. Have the student read the questions in activity 3 on page 44quicly and try to understand them.2. Ask students to read the passage together 3. Get the students to study the table on page 44 carefully and silent by themselves4. compare their answers with their group members 5. call back the answers on the screen6. show correct answers on the screenExtension1. Students are required to have a further discussion and write a similar passage about a simple scientific experimentActivity1 Discus-sion Discussion :1 What did you know about describing a scientific experiment ?2 What do the five words refer to ?aim ; apparatus ; method ;result ;conclusion 3 What is the correct order to describe the stages of a scientific experiment ?Then divide the students into 3 group to present an experiment according to the passage B , meanwhile give out some relative equipment Group A - Iron in dry air ;Group B - Iron in air free water ;Group C Iron in ordinary water.
