3.由特殊疑问词who(人物)、where(地点)、when(时间)、what(事件)、why(原因)、how(方式)引导的特殊疑问句来提问文章的细节。4. What’sthemainideaofthepassage?/Whatarethemainpointsabout...inthispassage?what名词、todo、doing、句子whyBecause,for,since,as,inordertowhen介词+时间,如:In1948./OnSeptember19,2004where介词+地点,如Intheparkhow形容词、副词、bydoing、with……等方式状语HowlongFor,since,如:FortwoyearsHowfarFiveminutes’walk…… Ithinkhe/she…/Weneedtobe…/Icanlearn…fromhim/her命题陷阱:1. A.Howdidthejudgesolvethestudent’sproblem?B.(Thejudgesolvedtheproblem)Bymakingtherestaurantownerhearthesoundofthefallingcoins.用where/when提问,要以介词in/on/at等开头。A.Wheredidthestudentlive?B.Inasmallroomneararestaurant.A.WhendidEppieLedererbegintowriteanadvicecolumnfortheChicagoSunTimes?B.In1955.(or:Aftershewonacontest.) 用howmany提问,要注意数字前是否有限定词morethan/atleast/about等。A.Howmanyreadersdothetwocolumnshave?B.Nearly200millionreaders(aroundtheworld). A.Whydidthestudentfeelafraid?B.Becausethejudgesaidhewaswrong/hehadonlyafewcoins/hehadnomoney.A.WhydidLedereraskherreaderstowriteletterstoTheU.S.Congress? B.Tomakethempassthelaw. A.WhomdidSamlivewithintheWildCatskillMountains?B.Helivedwithhimself. A.HowlonghaveyoustayedinShanghai?B.For3years.B.Howlongdidittakeyoutogotoschoolbybus?B.3hours. A.Howwasthefoodintherestaurant?B.Thefoodwasdelicious/good.反义疑问句:Example1.BothEppieLedererandPaulinePhilliplovetheirjobs,don’tthey?Example2.BothEppieLedererandPaulinePhillipdon’tlovetheirjobs,dothey? A.Asateenager,willyourunawayfromhome?Why?B.Becausethiswasjustthekindofforesthealwaysdreamedabout. Alibraryisaplacetokeepbooksandstoreknowledge.RecentlylibrariesarenotaspopularasbeforebecausepeopleprefertousetheInternettofindoutinformation,ratherthanbooks.Withaclickofamouse,itispossibletofindoutalmostanythingpeoplecaretoknow.Butbeinginaroomthatisfullofbooksisafantasticthing.Justthinkabouthowmanywordsthereareinalibrary.Eachofthosewordshasbeenthoughtof,andcarefullychosen,bytensofthousandsofpeople.Thatmustmakeitaspecialplacetobe.Maybeallkindsofthingscanhappeninlibraries.Sometimes,youseethatalibraryisusedforpoetryworkshopsorguitarlessons.Also,theymayhavewritersvisitingandtalkingabouttheirbooks.Alloftheseactivitiesaremuchbetterbecausetheyareinalibrary.Lotsofschoolshavelibraries.Ifyourschoolhasalibrary,it’sprobablynotjustaplacetoreadbooks.Librariesarealsoquietplacestobe.Theyarecalmerthantheplaygroundorthedininghall.It’sthebooksthatkeepuscalmandpeaceful.1.Whyarelibrarieslesspopularthanbefore?____________________________________2.Whatactivitiescanbeorganizedinalibrary?____________________________________3.Whattypeofbookwouldyouliketoborrowfromyourschoollibrary?Why?____________________________________【答案】1.BecausepeopleprefertousetheInternettofindoutinformation,ratherthanbooks.2.Havingpoetryworkshops/guitarlessons.Listeningtowriters'talksabouttheirbooks.3.Novel/Science/History/Travel/…Becausetheycanimprovemyknowledgeofthepast/science…/Theyhelpmerelaxafterabusyday.【解析】【导语】本文是一篇说明文,介绍了图书馆的一些好处。 Also,theymayhavewritersvisitingandtalkingabouttheirbooks.” 故填Havingpoetryworkshops/guitarlessons. Novel/Science/History/Travel/…Becausetheycanimprovemyknowledgeofthepast/science…/Theyhelpmerelaxafterabusyday.
