Figure1-1showsafunctionalblockdiagramofthe9415DA-SFP.Thecardismulti-rate,andsupportsSDIandASI/DVBonallinputsandoutputswithnon-invertingoutputs.Thecardprovidesautomaticformatdetectandreclockat2.970,1.485,and0.270Gb/s,withreclockingforunrecognizedformatsautomaticallysettodisabled.ThecardusesrearmodulesequippedwithSFPcages,allowingSFPmodulestobehot-swappedformaintenanceorcard

re-purposing.BecauseallconnectionsaredirecttothecardrearmoduleandexternalSFPs,allcablingremainsundisturbedforcardremoval/installation.Thecardacceptsnon-MSAvideoSFPmodules,withsingleanddual-channelTxandRxmodulesavailable,supportinganextensiverangeofelectrical/coaxandfiberconversions.

CobaltDigitalInc.LimitedWarranty

Thisproductiswarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforaperiodoffive(5)yearsfromthedateofshipmenttotheoriginalpurchaser,exceptthat4000,5000,6000,8000seriespowersupplies,andDolby®modules(whereapplicable)arewarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforaperiodofone(1)year.

CobaltDigitalInc.'s(“Cobalt”)soleobligationunderthiswarrantyshallbelimitedto,atitsoption,(i)therepairor(ii)replacementoftheproduct,andthedeterminationofwhetheradefectiscoveredunderthislimitedwarrantyshallbemadeatthesolediscretionofCobalt.

Thislimitedwarrantyappliesonlytotheoriginalend-purchaseroftheproduct,andisnotassignableortransferrabletherefrom.Thiswarrantyislimitedtodefectsinmaterialandworkmanship,andshallnotapplytoactsofGod,accidents,ornegligenceonbehalfofthepurchaser,andshallbevoideduponthemisuse,abuse,alteration,ormodificationoftheproduct.OnlyCobaltauthorizedfactoryrepresentativesareauthorizedtomakerepairstotheproduct,andanyunauthorizedattempttorepairthisproductshallimmediatelyvoidthewarranty.PleasecontactCobaltTechnicalSupportformoreinformation.

Tofacilitatetheresolutionofwarrantyrelatedissues,Cobaltrecommendsregisteringtheproductbycompletingandreturningaproductregistrationform.Intheeventofawarrantabledefect,thepurchasershallnotifyCobaltwithadescriptionoftheproblem,andCobaltshallprovidethepurchaserwithaReturnMaterialAuthorization(“RMA”).Forreturn,defectiveproductsshouldbedoubleboxed,andsufficientlyprotected,intheoriginalpackaging,orequivalent,andshippedtotheCobaltFactoryServiceCenter,postageprepaidandinsuredforthepurchaseprice.ThepurchasershouldincludetheRMAnumber,descriptionoftheproblemencountered,datepurchased,nameofdealerpurchasedfrom,andserialnumberwiththeshipment.
