She puts some fresh(新鲜 ) seed in the seed bowl . She puts some clean water in the water bowl . Then the telephone rings . Betty runs to the telephone . She forgets（忘记） to shut the door of the cage . Birdie sees the open door . He flies out of the cage . He flies round and round the room . He is happy . David has a pet , too . He has a cat . Her name is Mimi . She eats fish and drinks milk . She eats birds , too . She is a naughty（顽皮） cat . Mimi goes into the living room . Birdie is on the television . Mimi sees him . She jumps on to the chair . Birdie flies away . She puts some birds seed in her hand . She holds out her hand to Birdie. “Dinner time, Birdie,”she says. “Come and eat.” Birdie is hungry . He flies down to Bettys hand.
