Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains第三课时Section A (Grammar Focus4c)【学习目标】1学生能熟练掌握 “as soon as, unless, sothat”等的用法。2学生能学会运用相关连词进行讲故事的活动并表达自己的感受和体会。3正确使用动词的各种时态。【学习重点】 “as soon as, unless, sothat”等连词的用法。【学习难点】动词各种时态的正确使用。师生谈论愚公移山的故事,复习所学短语和句型,引入话题。Task 1【组内小展示】先由各小组组长带领组内成员认读单词和词组,再在整个小组内进行齐读后对词汇的用法进行归纳,并标记出发音和理解困难的词汇,可及时向老师求助。最后,板书展示内容。【班级大展示】1I can read.(我会读)带读齐读;通过游戏形式,如单词游戏来巩固词汇的学习。2I can write.(我会写) 以answer quickly(抢答)的方式对词组进行中英互译;带读齐读;抽测:可以用造句的方式巩固词组的用法。3I can use.(我会用) 对marry的用法进行归纳讲解;抽测:完成【小试牛刀】中的练习再讲解。情景导入生成问题(T)Question:Please retell the story Yu Gong Moves a Mountain.(S)Answer:_自学互研生成能力Task 1Lets read new words and the phrases.1I can read.(我会读)once upon a time, stepsister, prince, fall in love, fit, couple, smile, marry, get married2I can write.(我会写)(1)fall in love with 爱上 (2)couldnt stop doing sth._忍不住做某事 (3)get married 结婚 (4)once upon a time 从前 (5)have no time to do 没有时间做 (6)continue to do sth. 继续做某事 (7)be able to do sth. 能够做某事 (8)the main character 主要人物;主人公 3I can use.(我会用)marry用作及物动词,意为 “嫁;娶;与结婚”。常用于以下结构中:(1)A marry B:A与B结婚。如:Bill married Mary on January 1,1994.比尔于1994年1月1日和玛丽结婚。(2)A and B get married A get married to B:A和B结婚get married to sb.与某人结婚Kate and Tom got married last year.Kate got married to Tom last year.凯特和汤姆去年结婚。(3)marry A to B:把A嫁给B。如:She married her daughter to a rich man.她把她女儿嫁给了一个有钱人。(4)be married to sb.:与某人结婚,表示状态。注意:marry和get married都是非延续性动词,不能与表示一段时间的状语连用,如果表示结婚一段时间,应用 be married。如:They have been married for 10 years.他们结婚十年了。Mr.Brown and his wife have been married for 20 years.(改为同义句)Mr.Brown and his wife got_married 20 years ago.他们俩结婚多久了?(根据汉语意思完成句子)How long have they been_married ?Task 2Tell stories.1I can practice.(我会练)用连词unless, as soon as或sothat填空。(1)The animals were so lovely that I spent a whole day in the zoo.(2)You cant get there on time unless you get up earlier than before.(3)I sent some flowers to her as_soon_as she finished speaking on the stage.(4)He rushed home as_soon_as he got the good news.(5)I wont let you in unless you get here on time.Task 2【组内小展示】小组内先进行讨论并核对Task 2的相关答案,再在组内讨论设置情境表演对话。最后,在黑板上板书展示内容。【班级大展示】1I can practice.(我会练)以抽签的形式,抽选同学填空并完成Task 2 中的句子;带读齐读。2I can make conversations.(我会编对话) 根据任务提示,设置情境,编写并表演对话;以抽查方式,展示对话。3I can tell stories.(我会讲故事) 根据提示,结合所学内容,讲述自己最喜欢的一个故事;全班展示。【备注】2I can make conversations.(我会编对话)请结合讲故事的主题,和同伴编一个对话。 A:Do you know the story Yu Gong moves a Mountain?B: No.How does the story begin?A:Once upon a time, there was a very old man.There were two mountains near his house.They were so high and big that it took a long time to walk to the other side.B:What happended next?A :The old man and his family decided to move the mountains.They put them into the sea because its big enough to hold everything.B:Whats the rest of the story?A:A god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent two gods to take the mountains away.B:What do you think of the story?A:I think Yu Gong found a good way to solve his problem.The story is trying to show us that anything is possible if you work hard!
