i o s e m i o t i c s ， t r a n s l a t i o nm e t h o d s l v 摘要 唐诗是我国优秀的文学遗产之一，也是全世界文学宝库中的一颗 灿烂的明珠。唐诗历来是中外诗歌爱好者的研究重点，被译介成各种 文字，尤以英文为盛。大量用典是唐诗的一大特点。典故蕴涵着浓厚 的民族文化印记与民族特质，包含了丰富的文化信息，因此译者只有 领会其文化内涵并遵循一定的翻译技巧，才能把典故所蕴含的文化信 息准确地传达出来。基于前人研究，本文试图从社会符号学视角探讨 唐诗典故的翻译。 社会符号学在翻译领域的广泛应用，为翻译的研究发展打开了另 一扇窗。很多专家学者对社会符号学理论在翻译中的应用进行过研 究，表明了社会符号学对翻译策略的指导作用。社会符号学翻译方法 以“意义相符，功能相似”为标准，“意义相符”是指指称意义、言 内意义和语用意义的相符；“功能相似“ 是指语言的信息功能、表达 功能和祈使功能的相似。 社会符号学翻译法明确了语言、文化、社会和语境的不可分割性。 唐诗中的典故承载着丰富的文化内涵。典故作为种语言符号，透过 社会符号学视角，能够充分地传达其中的文化蕴含，更好地分析其社 会和文化背景。 除引言和结语部分之外，论文分三个章节。在论文引言部分，作 者介绍了国内外对唐诗典故翻译的研究现状，本论文的研究意义，并 概述了论文的基本结构。第一章介绍了唐诗典故，包括典故的定义、 来源和作用；第二章介绍了社会符号学翻译方法，重点分析了社会符 号学翻译方法的标准“意义相符，功能相似”和优势，引介了美国哲 学家莫里斯提出的意义三分法指称意义、言内意义和语用意义。 第三章具体分析了译书唐诗三百首新译中唐诗典故翻译的策略，
