中学英语写作创新教育法初探 摘要:改革开放以来,我国的科学技术突飞猛进,对人才的要求也越来越高。传统的应试教育已不能适应当今社会对人才的要求,故在教育界改革成了必然的趋势,教育界人士都提出各种的教学方法,已达到培养人全面发展、更为祖国培养人才的目的。本文基于前人的研究成果,先从解释什么是创新教育这一角度出发,将创新教育和传统教育相比较,分析出传统教育的弊端,提出了创新教育的教育方法,指出了创新教育方法在当今教育界的存在价值,体现出创新教育在我国中学英语教育中的作用,从而从英语教育的一个角度英语写作来分析创新教育的具体应用。分析创新教育在中学英语写作中的具体应用,以提高学生对英语学习的兴趣及写作水平。关键词:传统教育;素质教育;创新教育;英语学作on innovative methodology in secondary school english writing teachingabstractwith the development of chinese science and technology since the reform and open, the desire for the talents is higher and higher. the traditional education system cannot adapt to the development of the society, so china ask for reform in the educational circles.in the first part of this paper, the author introduces the innovative methodology and its origin and function. then makes a comparison between the traditional teaching method and the innovative method is mentioned, which reveals the shortcomings of the traditional teaching method and show that the advantages of the innovative methodology. the author also states the application of innovative methodology in english writing teaching, analyzing the influence of the innovative teaching methodology on english writing. in conclusion, the activity in english study and the english writing levels can also be improved with the help of this innovative secondary school english writing teachingintroduction innovative teaching methodology is a way to cultivate students to have a creation of mind and ability to innovate. the key content is to put the quality-oriented education into practice for welcoming the challenge in the period of the knowledge economy on the basis of 9-year compulsory education. the essential researching and solution to the secondary schools on the basic education is how to foster a creative consciousness, a spirit of innovation and innovation ability for the students. innovative teaching methodology was born in 1980s, and it was developed in the late 1970s. “the father of innovative” is an economist of austria-america joseph alois schumpeter. he brought forward the innovation method in the year of 1912. he thought the innovation is the process of reform or recurrence the new knowledge for economic system1. the innovative spirit and practical ability of the students have been overlooked, which cannot adapt to the development of our modern society. some important scholars in china indicated that education is the basis of knowledge innovation, transmission, application as well as cultivating the innovative talents. therefore, the innovative teaching methodology is imperative, especially in the secondary school english writing teaching. the innovative teaching methodology aims at promoting the quality-oriented education, in order to make the students bring their potential into play, excite the students initiative and actualize integrated development in students ability. . comparison between innovative and traditional teaching given the content of globalization, the science and technology have developed faster and faster, the subjects of the education system have involved more and more advancing information and knowledge, which acquired the reform in the educational circle. the traditional education methodology is not fit for the development of the society. china asks for new methodology for improving our education quality. in the pre-technology education context, the teacher is the sender or the source, the educational material is the information or massage, and the student is the receiver of the information. basically, the teacher controls the instructional process, the content is delivered to entire class and the teacher tends to emphasize factual knowledge. in other words, the teacher delivers the lecture and the students listen to the lecture. thus, the learning mode tends to be passive and learner ply little pare in their learning process. there are some limitations which may prevail in traditional teaching method. they are:1. teaching in classroom using chalk and talk is “one way flow” of information.2. teachers often continuously talk for an hour without knowing students response and feedback.3. the material presented is only based on lecture notes and textbooks.4. learning from memorization but not understanding.5. marks rather than result oriented the innovative teaching method is regarding the students as the subjective things, and the process of the education is construction of the selfdetermination by the students themselves. the subject in the process of education is students as well as achieving the ideal. the function of the teachers is cultivating an atmosphere for the students to learning activity. ye shinto said,“the teacher just teach, but must pay attention to guidance, think about the teaching methods for making sure the students can learn by themselves.”2 the teachers under the traditional education method just make the students learn by rote, but overlook the students feeling inside, and contuse the activity and positivity of the students in learning. but the innovative teaching methodology is laying stress on fostering the ability of the students, especially the ability to study independently and the capability to analyze problems. the interest is the best teachers. the inspiring of the students learning interest can move the students initiative to study. the traditional methodology is based on the knowledge in the books. the teachers are the essential part in the class which gives a limitation to improve the students activity and creativity, ignorance the initiative ability of the students. the innovative methodology is based on the quality of the students. teachers are just act as a guide or a member of the class. the essential part is the students themselves. the teaching aims at heighten the students activity, creativity and initiative capability. the innovative teaching methodology has a series of forms which can suit to most kinds of students. inspire the activity in the students mind is the most important thing in teaching career. the traditional methods are unity to teaching the students integrated development. on the contrary the innovative methods are diversifying for teaching. a. disadvantages of traditional teaching methodologyfirstly, the centre is teaching which is surrounded by learning. a drawback of traditional training is that it inherently places the most value on standards, curriculum and passing tests as opposed to student-focused learning. student-focused learning places value on the student and builds the curriculum around the questions young people need answered in order to understand the material. constructivist learning builds on the knowledge students already have allowing them to form concrete associations to new information, which improves retention. traditional learning is based on repetition and memorization of facts that students care less about and retain at lower rates after testing.secondly, the teaching is lack of fostering the ability of thinking. traditional classroom training doesnt encourage critical thinking skills, the ability to actively apply information gained through experience and reasoning. instead, traditional training emphasizes the role of teachers as knowledge dispensers and students as repositories. this style of learning doesnt allow students deeper levels of understanding required for complex concepts and lifelong learning.thirdly, the teaching is lack of process on writing teaching. traditional training emphasizes passing tests, whether or not students under testing material. the learning process is thus devalued, and students are not encouraged to understand the methods, techniques and skills required to find answers. constructivist learning holds the process as important as the results because it stimulates skills important long after schooling.fourthly, the teaching is lack of writing structures. rather than focusing on larger concepts and considering student context in the learning as constructivist training does, traditional training focuses on basic skills and gradually builds to a whole. while this simplifies learning, it provides little context, which can disconnect learners.finally, the teaching is lack of interaction between teachers and students. traditional training emphasizes individual student work and projects and is poor preparation for a students future endeavors, which are likely to include working on teams and collaborating with colleagues. under this training model, students receive few opportunities to practice group dynamics and teamwork.1. scores oriented “the examination-oriented education system” acts as the essential goals of education, which is a kind of parochial educational pattern that introduces chinese basic education into a blind alley. its negative character shows: first foremost, the goal of intellectual education is parochial. the examination-oriented education put the intellectual education in the first place, but it is parochial and unilateral. the examination-oriented education pays more attention to the examinations, skills and the mastership of the knowledge. it adopt over-learning and hard training, and make the students just learning the knowledge in the textbooks, not to practice after school, which lead the students have ability to get scores and not to betterment their competence. besides, the scores are oriented. in the traditional education pattern, the work in school is all based on the scores. the teaching contents surround with the famous universities, they aim at the rat of entrance into famous universities. the teaching methodology is about how to improve the students scores, how to better the students ability to write english word, how to keep the students to remember english poetry. for getting a high mark, the students must stay in classroom every minute, to remember the english words, recite english grammar, to keep the english texts in mind. the students have little time to play gymnastic sports, if they go into classroom after the time that the teacher decided, they may have problems. finally, the burden on the students is much heavy, which may bring bad effect for students. the scores oriented education method may divide the students into two kinds of class. one is the premium student, and the other is poor students. the teachers make the students do a lot of practice about the examination. the spirit and mental of the students may get hurt. 2. class for teachers teaching only “the subjective members in a school are the students, the effective of every teaching method must through the students. the students is the main actors in the process of education system, the teachers are acting as a guidance.” 3but in the process of traditional education system, the teachers are the main members, they direct the class and conduct the students to do everything. the class is to show the teachers teaching skills, the teachers talk on the stage no matter the students like or not, they must keep quiet, and the teachers just make most of them understand. after class, the teachers may arrange a lot of homework for the students, and make them finish it in a providing time, or the students may be in trouble. the class teaching is unity and based on the teachers talk, the students do after the teachers, which make them lose their capability of will. “the external cause is the factor of changeable, the internal cause is the basis of changeable. but the internal cause is effect on the external cause.”4the students must have their own attitude to the knowledge, and they must study with thinking, not to accept all the knowledge from the teachers, they may have their own idea to judge whether the information giving by the teachers is right or wrong, because not all the teachers teaching contents are correct. but in traditional teaching method, the students accept all the information from the teachers, because the traditional teaching system have impart on the students enrooted. the teachers act as the director whose words are just like the authority. the phenomena lead the students to a stupid situation, which make them become a study machine to absorb all the information the teachers told.3. limitation of textbook the students under the traditional education system must recite the english words. the students have to take the dictation every day for checking whether they have remembered the words or not. the teaching contents are according to the textbooks. but it ignores the connection among every subject that may separate the faculty of understanding. the students cannot connect the subject with the practical issues and solve the practical issues. the students under the traditional education system have a limitation of textbook. they just arrowed to read the textbooks, do the homework on the textbook. there are no extra books, if the teachers find out that the students read a book which is not involved in the textbooks, they may confiscate it. so the students knowledge have a limitation, they cannot contact with the other information to enrich their mind, which is bad for integrated development of the students.b. advantages of innovative teaching methodology the basic content of innovative teaching methodology is to foster the students innovative and activity spirit. it includes a lot of ways to help student get activity to study. the advantage of the innovative teaching methodology can inspire the positive spirit of the students. the students may have the passion to learn, and the class is not boring, which can maneuver the participation of the students. with the development of the science and technology, china asks more talents for our improvement, so the school must develop the students who are integrated development. the innovation teaching methodology is a way to foster the talents with allround development. not limitation in textbook, connect the theory with practice, better the practical person. the innovative teaching methodology is emphasis on the students interest. and inspire the students activity, it is not just make the students do as the teacher told, it encourages the students to searcher the problems and solve the problems, it cultivates the students to think the knowledge they have learnt and practice it on the real life. it is not keep the students to recite the important point, but to understand it. it is not to force the students to stay in classroom to write the homework, but to let the students discuss together and achieve new information. the innovative method is to construct an active mind in the students and make them pursue the knowledge positively. 1. language competence oriented the language competence oriented is emphasis on the education of the students quality. it has three kinds of ways to develop the language competence oriented. first, the general react between teachers and students, which call the students to pay more attention to the listening comprehension. when the teachers ask a question, the students can use their body language to answer it. this method is pay stress to the understanding rather than the speaking. the imply teaching method can be used by the teachers to encourage students to express. imply teaching method is to make the teachers keep quiet in class and let the students practice speaking. communities teaching method suggests that the teachers should communist with the students, they may discuss a question together, not to tell the students what to do and what the answer is ,just discuss with them, make them state out their own attitude, the way in which can help students get a deep im
