increasing year by year, and has been involved in 53 countries and regions.however,behind the greatly increasing, the divorce rate of this kind of marriage is rising as well, and has been significantly higher than the growth rate of marriage.the data shows, among the canadian and chinese husbands and wifes, the divorce rate is 60%. in 1997, the japanese and chinese husband to divorce his wife for 30% of the number of married a japanese wife and husband divorce, china accounted for 35% of the number of marriage. from 1990 to 1995 the marriage grows 2.4 times, and the divorce logarithm growth 2.8 times. in 1990 the marriage and divorce ratio is 20%, compared with 26% in 1995.the existing problem of transnational marriageallegedly, there are many chinese daughter-in-law to overseas, life was not like they had imagined that everywhere is heaven. on the contrary,they suffered the grievance and even be abused outside, but due to the face, they would rather working abroad as the babysitter than return home.and there are many chinese in foreign countries chose to marry a foreigner before, eventually divorce and go back home to find a chinese again.whats more,many of them have to face the dispute about the ownership of their children caused by divorce.here are some failed examples for the trans-national marriage:1、 the foundation of marriage is not for love.the transnational marriage is mostly driven by money and material benefits, marry people outside the country just want to seek a better material life and get more enjoyment.2、 appear a number of age gap grandchildren marriages.most of the transnational marriage age level is disparity. generally ,a twenty or thirty year old chinese girl marry a quite big years old of fifty or sixty or even seventy, countries.the cultural difference is the chief killer now,let me analyses the current situation and problems of transnational marriage from the differences between chinese culture and western culture. firstly,westernersconcept of love and marriage is not like us.they pay more attention to communication, spirit and hobbies instead of the economic ability or education,while the chinese marry-age young women seem to be more concerned about each others hardware conditions such as wage,house,car and so on.secondly, chinese couples rely more on each other both in the spiritual and material.they can share anything with each other.but in western countries, sweethearts of husband and wife are so independent that you might even thought they were ruthless.they dont believe that love a person will have to pay much money,what they are more concerned about is the happiness between each others company.thirdly,western people treat their parents in different ways.chinese tradition isproviding everything for the elderly,children growing up have to support the elderly through their own efforts.but in the western,children have no responsibility for their parents.especially the united states with a perfect welfare relatively system of the government,the old maintenance task will be borne by the state. fourthly,westerner have strong self-awareness and respect for privacy.even the husband and wife cant reading each others letter or mobile phone without permit.and chinese couples is more close,they will usually read each others letters,especially the wifes often check their husbandss massage om the mobile phone.fifthly,traditional chinese males ideal marriage is the basic type as an understanding wife and loving mother,while western men prefer strong-minded women who have a life and hobby of their own.last but not least,the western way of thinking is different from chinese.chinese expression of love is more likely in a reserved style,they never directly speak out what they
