Lesson 3Good Food,Good Health 教学整体设计【教学目标】1.掌握文中单词grain,corn,vitamin,mineral,fibre,protein,bean,Asian, soy,calcium,bone,yogurt,contain,balanced,diet并能熟练记忆;能够听懂并能说以下句子:Bread,noodles and rice are all grain foods.Breakfast cereal is also made of different grains.They help you grow and stay healthy.Salads are very popular in Western countries.Your body needs calcium to stay healthy.A balanced diet will keep you healthy and give you lots of energy!2.能够通过总结归纳should的用法来形成自己的学习策略。3.使学生能够将所学到的知识运用于真实的生活场景中,具有一定的社会交际意识。引导学生关注生活,培养学生热爱生活的美好品质。4.理解课文意思并能回答课后的问题。【教学重难点】重点:掌握上述重点短语和句型。难点:1.Know more words about the names of the grain in our daily life.2.Let the students know how to arrange the food that we eat and keep us healthy.3.Why is a balanced diet the most important for our health?【课前准备】多媒体,黑板,录音机教学过程设计 教学过程一、创设情境,切入主题Step 1:Warming upT:What foods do you eat every day?Ss:I usually eat bread,vegetables,meat and so on.T:In your opinion,whats a healthy and balanced diet?Ss:I think a healthy and balanced diet should contain all kinds of food.T:What should we do to keep a healthy and balanced diet?Ss:We should try to eat every kind food and dont be particular about food.T:OK,Im quite satisfied with your answer.It seems that all of you know what a healthy and balanced diet is and how to keep a healthy and balanced diet.Now lets open our text books and turn to Page 6,Good Food,Good Healthy.设计意图:给学生说话的机会,锻炼学生的口语表达能力。二、展开过程,探究新知Step 2:Presentation1.Teacher shows the words we are going to learn:grain,corn,vitamin,mineral,fibre,protein,bean,Asian,soy,calcium,bone,yogurt,contain,balanced,diet and then teaches the students how to read these words.After that,explain the meanings of these words and explain the usages of them.2.Ask the students to remember these words by themselves and ask some students to play a game.The one who can remember more words will win the game and will receive an award.设计意图:以比赛的方式记单词,激发学生的学习积极性。3.Explain the meaning of the text and teach language points,find out the main phrases and sentences in the text.(1)These are all protein foods.它们都是蛋白质食品。辨析:all,both与wholeboth指两个人或物,而all指三个以上的人或物,在句中都可作主语、宾语、表语、同位语或定语。Both of us want to go.我们两个人都想去。All of us should work hard.我们都应努力工作。all与whole在表示“整体的”“全部的”意思时,用法略有不同。all要置于冠词、物主代词或其他限定词之前;而whole则要置于这些限定词之后。all my life,all the world,my whole life,the whole world(2)Your body needs calcium to stay healthy.你的身体需要钙保持健康。The shop stays open until midnight.这家商店到半夜才关门。(3)Milk,cheese and yogurt contain calcium.牛奶、奶酪和酸奶中含钙。contain v.包含,容纳Beer contains alcohol.啤酒里含有酒精。The speech contained some interesting ideas.这个演讲包含一些有趣的思想。以为组成部分,包括或由构成The album contains many memorable songs.这张唱片中包括许多值得收集的歌曲。设计意图:明确学习目标,激发他们的学习热情。Step 3:Drill1.Read the text again and do Exercise 1 and Exercise 2(Part 1) on Page 7.2.Listen to the tape of this text for three times and then complete the passage of Exercise 2(Part 2).设计意图:学生反复听磁带并跟读。第一次听,要求学生大概理解课文的意思。第二次听,改为一句一句听,仔细听出每句话的内容。第三次听完成上面的练习。通过反复听磁带并跟读培养他们听说的能力。Step 4:Explain the whole text1.Explain the meaning of the whole text sentence by sentence,help the students remember the main phrases and the main sentences.设计意图:让学生能抓住文中重点词汇和句型,善于归纳。2.Practice.Do Exercise 3 on Page 7.设计意图:锻炼学生的思考能力、表达能力和交际能力。三、布置作业Write a short essay about how to keep a balanced diet. 教学小结【板书设计】Lesson 3Good Food,Good HealthMain phrases:be made ofrich inlots ofstay healthybe popular ina lot ofMain sentences:1.Bread,noodles and rice are all grain foods.2.Breakfast cereal is also made of different grains.3.They help
