第三届普通高中新课程实验优秀教案评比参评教案第三届普通高中新课程实验优秀教案评比高中组参赛教案江西省南昌市第三中学 吴平2011-06-09人教新课标高中必修6 第3单元 第5课时Teaching Design For Moduel6 Unit3 A Healthy Life Period 5:Writing教材版本:人教新课标学科:英语年级:高二册别:必修6No.3 Middle School of NanchangWu PingTeaching Plan (NSEFC M6)Unit 3 A Healthy Life Using Language Writing Jun. 9, 2011Teaching Ideals (教学设计理念及思路)高中英语课程标准目标由五部分构成: 语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识。 高中二年级必修6第3单元的中心话题是 “健康生活”, 听说读写活动主要围绕如何摒弃恶习、怎样成为健康人展开,其中涉及许多社会热点问题,如抽烟、吸毒、艾滋病、学习与工作压力等影响健康的棘手问题,目的在于让他们远离有损健康的活动,并养成良好的生活习惯。语言技能和语言知识都是围绕健康生活这一中心课题设计的。该课属写作课型, “写”(Writing)部分要求学生给想拒绝吸烟又遇到困难的李晓雷写封信,帮助他想想办法。重点是要帮助学生掌握表示禁止、警告和允许的短语和句型, 培养学生的能力,在Writing等教学活动中,使学生关注健康问题、认识到抽烟、吸毒的危害,树立“健康生活”的良好意识。 授课教师不仅使用了教材上Writing部分提供的材料,同时利用多媒体技术适当延伸到课外,联系实际,如周边熟悉的人的实际情况,采用了任务型及分层等教学法,帮助掌握学生写的策略, 培养学生写的能力, 陶冶学生热爱生活并健康生活的情操, 从而更好地完成教材规定的教学目标和教学内容。本节课的主要特点: 1. 注重任务型教学模式。(每个教学环节都由2个任务组成)2. 联系生活实际, 突出实际与应用。(从2011年江西作文题入手,从身边的中学生及亲朋好友抽烟现象入手等等。3. 利用多媒体,创设情景, 整体呈现,同时结合传统的教学手段黑板的利用。4. 实施分层教学, 尊重学生的个性差异。(容易的问题留给基础较差的学生) 5. 关注学生情感, 提高人文素养。(引导学生关注健康问题,远离香烟等有害身体的物品)6. 严格遵循教师为主导、学生为主体的教学原则。(保证每一个学生都至少一次发言)7. 采用封闭式问题与开放型问题(open-ended question) 相结合,培养学生的发散性思维。8. 关注了课堂向课外的延伸。(家庭作业有一道是下课上网查关于抽烟的害处及戒烟的策略)9. 培养学生及时反馈的学习习惯。(作业的布置)I. Teaching Aims (教学目标)1. Knowledge Aims (知识目标) Function: Persuasive writing: letter of advice Structures: Some of the uses of “it”, including: impersonal “it” , and “it” used in the subjectobject position. How to advise people about what to do and what not to do. Words and expressions: embarrassed, awkward2. Ability Aims (能力目标) Develop the Ss writing skill by writing letter of advice. Train the Ss writing ability by writing about persuasive writing: letter of advice, using some useful expressions for supporting an opinion.3. Emotion Aims (情感目标) Make the Ss realize the healthy problems we are facing now and the importance of stopping smoking. Keep your life away from smoking. Help the Ss with creative thinking, communicative and cooperative learning by discussing the problems and solutions. Stimulate the Ss sense of living a healthy life. II. Teaching Focus (教学重点) Make the Ss realize the bad effects on smoking and the importance of health. Practise how to advise people about what to do and what not to do.III. Teaching Difficult Points (教学难点)How to improve the Ss writing ability.IV. Teaching Aids (教学手段)tape recorder, slide projector, stick figures, a multimedia computer V. Interactive Patterns (教学方法) Task based teaching and learning. Activity based teaching (individual, pair , group or class work, lockstep )VI. Teaching Procedure (教学步骤)Before class: Enjoy an English song about healthy life.Step 1 Warming up & lead-inTask1. Daily talks to introduce some special days dealing with the environment such as Tree-planting Day, International Environment Day and No-smoking Day by starting with a question “What is the topic of the writing task of the English paper of College Entrance Examination of 2011?” Task2. Discussion Video showing to introduce some world-shocking events on the damage caused by smoking. (也可选用中央电视台健康在线访谈栏目关于吸烟有害健康的一段1分钟左右的视频)Question: List some bad effects on smoking.Slide Possible answers:Different ways People can become addicted to cigarettesHarmful physical effects for smokersEffects that a persons smoking can have on other peopleEffects that smoking can have on sporting performanceStep 2 Pre writing Task1.Thinking & answering Ask the Ss to speak out the topic of Unit3 and present it on the blackboard.Task2. Discussion & reviewing Ask the Ss to make a list about the health problems caused by smoking as well as the suggestions on how to stop smoking from Unit3. Ask Ss to turn to page 24 to read the directions and make sure they know what to do.Step 3 While- writingTask1. Reading & discussion1. Read the letter with students and ask them to suggest some advice they could give Li Xiaolei.2. Ask the students to spend a few minutes discussing and collecting 3-5 tips they would like to include in their letter by brainstorming and discussing. 3. Spend a few minutes discussing with students how they should organize their letter ,especially the writing skills on Persuasive writing. Suggest that they start with a sentence “I am sorry you have found yourself in such a difficult situation”, follow this with their tips and end with few words of encouragement.SlideHow to ask for advice:What should I do?Could you tell me what to do?Can you give me some advise? Slide show some key words , useful expressions about prohibition, warning, permission and advice, and tell the Ss that the useful expressions given are very helpful. Suggest the Ss try to use the “it” structure, especially it used in the subject and object position ,which we deal with in Unit3.2. Ask the Ss to finish their writing task following the steps they are advised to follow.Slide Basic writing Four-step method 解题步骤完整 :Read and divide 审题+信息点整合准确 :Complete the sentences 要点成句连贯 :Join the sentences 连句成篇正确 :Check carefully 细心检查 (时态一致、主谓一致、人称一致, 名词单复数等等.)Step 4 Post - writingTask1. Discussion Put the Ss into groups of four and ask them to select the letter they like most. They could work as a group to edit the letter and write a clean copy to be displayed in the classroom. (Or: Ask the Ss exchange their works. )Task2. Comments After the Ss have written their letters, show the Ss a copy of the sample letter and ask them to discuss it in terms of the structure of the letter and the target function used.Step 5 Production (结合生活, 引导学生分析自己所在的学校的同学及周围的亲朋好友抽烟的情况给大家带来的危害, 并让学生以 “采访”的形式进行, 这样的语言实践既可帮助学生提高语言运用能力,又可增强其健康意识和社会责任感)Task: Role play -An interview Slide Situation: Suppose one of you is a reporter from Jiangxi Daily and the rest are Ss of No.3 Middle School of Nanchang, simulate an interview in groups of four about bad effects on smoking and how to stop smoking. Step 6 Summarizing & ideological educationTask: 1. The ways of how to advise people about what to do and what not to do & the writing skill by writing letter of advice.2. Ideological education and inspiration. As long as we are confident enough, we can surely keep our life away from smoking. To stop smoking is to protect ourselves , us human beings and to protect our earth. Lets keep our life away from smoking and choose a “green and healthy ” way of living! Step 7 Self-as
