Know about the ways of making description2. Doing listening tasks for both general understanding and details3. Practicing speaking tasks.4. Doing additional listeningWarm up Questions:1. What is like?2. Please tell me about 3. Its like ,Part A: Listening and Speaking Tasks 1. Pre-listening Task:1) Bring the students attention to language points and explain some new words in it. 2) Ask the students to discuss the questions in pairs by using the useful expressions in Language points. 3) Encourage 2 pairs of students to speak in front of the class. 2. Listening Task:Ask students to do micro-listening: making description 1). Explain some related background information to help the students to understand without difficulty while listening to the material.2). Look at Ex.1&2 and ask the students to predict the questions.3). Listen to the tape and do exercise 1: Listen to the recording and finish the exercise.4). Listen to the tape and do exercise 2: Listen to the recording and finish the exercise.5). Listen to the tape again and explain some difficult sentences to the students to make sure that they have understood the details of the dialogue. Ask students to do macro-listening, 1).Explain some related background information to help the students to understand without difficulty while listening to the material.2). Look at exercises and ask the students to predict the questions.3) Listen to the tape4) Ask students to do exercise 1 and exercise 2.5). Listen to the tape again and explain some difficult sentences to the students to make sure that they have understood the details of the dialogue.3.
