Dubbed the “Iron Lady“ for her firm opposition to the Soviet Union(苏联). lMargaret Thatcher was born in Grantham(格兰瑟姆), Lincolnshire(林肯郡), on 13 October 1925. Her father owned two grocery shops and was active in local politics, serving as an alder man and a Methodist local preacher, and brought up his daughter as a strict Methodist. early life lRoberts attended Huntingtower Road Primary School.
