雅思练习材料选择的建议及范文大家很困惑如何从繁多的资料中选择最接近ielts考试的训练材料。我的建议如下:所有的ielts试题都是由cambridge university考试委员会出的,所以选用复习材料第一选cambridge university press出的材料。有人反映它有点难,但你必须适应他,他的难度应该就是ielts的难度。只是因为大家有了机经以后,感觉他偏难。cambridge university press出的材料包括ielts preparation 1, ielts preparation 2,ielts preparation 3, insight to ielts, insight to ielts extra等五本。ielts的基础训练教材是ielts tips 101 202。202是很重要的基础训练教材。特别上内容基本涵盖了australia的背景,另外对数字和字母的发音训练极其有用。国内自己杜撰的那些教材尽量少买,当然你买不到cambridge university press出的材料,那你只能买国内出的那些垃圾了,因为涉及版权问题,出版cambridge university press出的材料的话要给老外交版权费,很贵的。澳大利亚出的教材慎用,一般他们的难度偏低。特别是university of technology, sydney的那套“最新雅丝考试指南”(英文名是prepare for ielts,分a、g两套版本),清华大学出版社出版的,难度过于简单,会误导初次考雅丝的朋友,大家小心点用它,不要以为它代表ielts水平。你要那样认为,你死定了。所以建议:1、首先cambridge university press出的材料。2、慎用澳大利亚出的材料。3、尽量不用国内自己杜撰的材料至于作文:大家一定主要参考国外正宗的老外版本作文,不用用国内那些老师出的材料。那些材料里有太多的中文习惯和中文式英语。看正宗老外写的文章条理又清晰,又容易懂。又没有多少生僻字,那是上品。至于网上那些可笑的作文范文,居然有人去背它,哎。我审过几篇杂志社给我的文章,我一看就知道是中国人写的,实在没有办法看,尽管我很想枪毙他,但想到是中国同胞,所以我回复杂志社的评语还是“希望做重大修改后发表, publish after major modification”,意思就是英文太差,好好写,写好再投吧。给同胞留了条后路,没有直接枪毙他。所以,大家不要背中国人写的范文,仔细研究老外的那些范文,主要是文笔、思维和格式。内容反正就那些。考前,我老妹从net下载过几十页所谓作文范文。我看了以后发现那些范文的水平在5分或以下,绝对达不到6分水平。有个孙肇春(可能是个英语老师,应该叫他孙老师吧)的范文倒是水平在6分到7分之间,但也不是好的范文,有太多chinese-english。所以我建议:大家不要背范文,主要是练习写作的逻辑结构。逻辑合理,内容顺畅,而不是堆砌华丽的辞藻。说实话,我都很难读懂那些下载的范文,看半天没明白他们具体的观点,尽是废话,这是大忌。作文一定要观点鲜明,逻辑严紧,结构流畅,词汇简单(不要过于简单也不要过于华丽),文章中体现出简单和复合句,这就可以了。看范文的主要作用是了解观点。可能你们年轻,能把整篇范文背下来,我老了(没有想象的那么老)。记忆不行了,也不鼓励去背。雅思范文:明星凭什么挣钱多Sports and entertainment personalities have higher value than professional workers like doctors ,nurse and teacher in some society, why this happened in some society and do you think it is good or bad development.Why athletes and movie stars make more money more quickly than professionals such as doctors, nurses and school teachers? Movie stars or famous athletes entertain a nation or even the whole world. The box office of an internationally popular movie star hit millions weeks after a movie release. Advertisement income of major sports event such as the world soccer cup reaches billions during the game season. Stars satisfy the needs of very large populations with greater efficiency than medical professionals or teachers, who usually work for one hospital or school. As a result, stars are able to create greater value for their employers and deserve higher income.However, the real value of many stars is more superficial. Unlike other professionals, stars are made to cater the constantly changing pop culture. Most cases are that stars, no matter how popular now, would be forgotten as time goes by. Professionals like doctors and teachers create the true value for their society. Their experience and knowledge drive our society forward. By contrast, stars create demand and make their fortune mainly by making news to attract attention. Many stars work as endorsement person even for shoddy products causing harms to consumers in various degrees.Due to the powerful influences of show business, many young people are more interested in getting famous and rich overnight than working hard in more worthy professions. Such ideas and action would make young people throw away their ambition to become good doctors or lawyers.To conclude, the value of stars is more superficial and does not form the real value of a society. The true value of our world is created by people with real knowledge and skills like doctors and teachers. We should not encourage young people to waste time and money being fans instead of working hard to be someone more useful to their society.疾病治疗与预防Prevention is better than cure: Out of a countrys health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and preventative measures.The rising costs of health care have become an issue for many countries in the world. To deal with this problem, it is recommended that a big part of the state health budget be used for health education and disease prevention instead of treatment.First of all, many kinds of diseases are (Motivational model )preventable and preventing a disease is usually much cheaper than treating it. For example, people could prevent catching a cold if they dress warmly and get good rest when the weather first gets cold in the winter. But many people get sick because they fail to do so and have to spend much more money seeing a doct123 Another case in point is cancer, the leading cause of death in the world. But lung cancer, liver cancer and many other kinds of cancer could all be effectively prevented if people take measures for their health in an early stage. Small things such as smoking less or eating more healthy food would have kept millions of families from becoming bankrupt if the patients took measures for early cancer prevention.In addition, health education also plays a key role in improving peoples health. By giving people more information about health, countries could help people understand the importance of disease prevention and ways to achieve it.However, emphasizing on disease prevention is not downplaying the significance of medical treatment.
