课程大纲课程概述本课程是国际经济与贸易,经济学专业学生的基础必修课。课程目标通过经贸英语课程的学习,全面提高学生专业英语的听说读写译的能力;使学生能熟练掌握并正确运用国际贸易中常用的英语词汇、搭配和句型;提高学生阅读经济学理论、国际金融、国际贸易、国际投资、企业管理、中国经济改革、中外经济关系等经贸领域的原版报刊文章;能熟练掌握并正确运用国际贸易中常用的英语术语,词汇、搭配和句型,进行口语和书面表达经济贸易领域的基本原理、观点、知识、方法和热点问题;提高经贸应用文和论文写作能力。除了课堂教学,该课程还开展各种形式的实践:如观看经贸英语会话和谈判的教学光盘,组织主题英语讨论和口译联系,课后布置英文原版经济贸易领域报刊文章的阅读。课程要求本课程的前导课程为大学英语四级,外贸函电等。答疑地点经济与贸易学院大楼6楼会议室指定教材五、教材及参考书国际商务英语廖英编著中南大学出版社新编经贸英语口译教程赵军峰主编中国社会科学出版社参考阅读国际经贸高级英语精读与翻译罗汉编著对外经贸大学出版社评分方式(仅供参考)期末闭卷考试,考试成绩占70%,平时作业和课堂练习占30%。Course OutlineCourse outviewThis course is a compulsory course for students of international economics and trade major.Course ObjectivesThrough the study of business English course, it aims to improve the students capacity for professional English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation; enable students to learn how to the use international business relative vocabulary, collocations and sentence correctively. Furthermore, it helps student to read academic Journal or newspaper relates to economics, international finance, international trade, international investment, enterprise management, Chinas economic reform, China and foreign economic relations etc. In addition, it provides the information to students how to correctly apply the international trade terms, vocabulary, combination and patterns of speaking language in English. And also enable students to learn writing expression of basic principles of economic and trade fields, views, knowledge, methods, and hot issues; hence, enhance capability for trade practical and thesis writing.
