初二英语下册Module 6 EntertainmentUnit 2He said it was on at the cinema.教 学 设 计开发区三中于晓平课题: He said it was on at the cinema.( 外研版初二下 Module 6 Unit 2 )设计人: 于晓平一. 课型: Reading and writing二. 教材分析本课是一节读写课,因此在本模块的学习上占有很重要的位置。本课既是对第一单元所学的直接引语与间接引语转换的进一步感知和体验,也为第三单元中模块任务即write a review of your favourite TV progranmme做好了准备。本节课介绍的是一部美国电影加勒比海盗。课文从听说到读写都围绕着娱乐方面的话题展开,因此学生会接触很多相关的词汇。学生要读懂文章,学习更多直接引语和间接引语的转换规则,在阅读教学中要不断教授学生写作技巧,为写作做准备,即读未知写已知。三. 教学对象分析:娱乐师学生最愿意讨论和关注的话题,但关于娱乐的写作是大多数学生比较欠缺的。通过本课学习,学生能够在阅读中体会本课的写作技巧,并尽量运用写作技巧来完成自己的写作。四. 教学目标: (一) 知识目标 1学生能掌握下列单词(词组)的读音、拼写和意思:fight sail ship tonightact character face action play scene funny although opinion except advise 能够在课文中正确理解下列单词:pirate believable lost fighting romantic2 学生能掌握下列词组:face to face in ones opinion true to life except for.3 在具体语境中体会和掌握直接引语和间接引语转换规则。4 在阅读中提高阅读与写作技巧,阅读后能写出关于娱乐评论的文章。(二)语言技能目标(1)听: 通过听文章来获取有关娱乐话题的主要信息和细节。.(2)说: 能根据文章内容运用直接引语和间接引语转换规则进行问答、讨论、复述等。(3)读: 能读懂电影简介及评论、明白文章主旨大意,提高理解文章结构的技能。.(4)写: 能运用间接引语转述别人的话。(三) 学习策略1 自学策略:学会用英文与别人交流看法。2 合作学习策略:积极参与讨论、倾听他人看法、发表个人观点,在小组内学生合作学习、探究学习。(四)情感态度价值观目标通过学习本文,使学生了解不同国家影视文化、发展对影视的兴趣。(五)教学重难点1 重点:理解掌握应知应会的单词及词组。理解整篇文章,基本掌握阅读策略。学会发表自己对影视节目的看法和喜好;能利用所学知识写一个关于电影或电视节目的评论。五、教学过程1 revisionLook and say. Hes very funny.Have you ever seen his film called the Myth?Now look at the poster of this film?How many characters can you see in this poster?Characters means the people in the film , got it?Look at this picture. Its beautiful and romantic.【设计意图】:本活动其实是热身活动导入主题,引起学生兴趣,同时为阅读做好词汇上的铺垫。4 Lead-inJust now we talked about Jacky chens movie. This class well learn about an introduction of a foreign film. Now look at this picture. This is the poster of the film. Can you guess what its about?Thats good, youre clever. Do you want to know what the film is about? Now lets learn the passage in Unit Two on page 50.【设计意图】:巧妙简介的导言会激发学生的学习兴趣,他们会马上投入学习状态中。5 Listen to the passage and answer questions Ask students to listen to the passage with questions, Then answer quickly.【设计意图】: 让学生带着问题来听,会使学生注意力集中,可以提高听的效率。6 Read the passage and check the main idea of each paragraph. Now class, lets listen and match the main idea with each paragraph.【设计意图】:本环节来训练学生对段落大意的理解力,从而更准确、深入地理解文章。7 Read and check true sentencesAsk the Ss to read aloud and check the true sentences.【设计意图】:本环节意在培养学生对文章细节的阅读理解能力。8 Analyze each paragraph.a. Read the 1st paragraph and answer two questions. (1)Who is this man? (2)What is he talking about? b. Read the 1st paragraph and complete the tableName of the filmplace TimeActors and actressHow are they?c. Read the 3rd paragraph and answer questions(1) What is the story about? Its about an old ship.It sails around the Caribbean Islands.(2)What do Depp and Bloom try to do ? They try to find some lost gold.(3) What happens to them? They come face to face with some terrible men and have fight them.(4)What about the fighting? Theres a lot of action and the fighting looks dangerous. (5) How are the scenes with Knightley and Bloom? They are beautiful and romantic.d. Language points about the 4th paragraph(1) This film isnt true to life.true to life 反映现实I like reading this book, its true to life. (2) Its an enjoyable film, although in my opinion theres too much fighting. Although he is young , he can look after himself. Although / Though he is young , he can look after himself. = He is young , but he can look after himself. in ones opinion:以某人的观点来看 In his opinion, he is right, but I dont agree with him.In my opinion, this story is very funny.=I think this story is very funny.(3)But except for that ,its an excellent film.(4) I advise you to go and see it now. advise sb to do sth 建议某人做某事 He advised me to read English every day.【设计意图】:通过不同方式来细致学习课文,提高了学生对文章的理解能力,解决了阅读障碍,为回答问题或复述课文做好铺垫。9 Retell the textAsk Ss to retell the text from paragraph to paragraph with the help of some pictures.【设计意图】:本环节可以帮助学生进一步熟悉课文内容,训练并提高口头表达能力,以此帮助学生熟练掌握间接引语的用法。 10 Fill in the blanks with new words and phrases to sum up the main idea of the passage.Pirates of the Caribbean is a _ _ film. (1) Now lets come back to the whole passage again .After learning the passage, we know that we write a short report about a movie or a play like this:Firstly, the main charactersSecondly, the main idea Thirdly, the comment(2)Write the short report about the movie The Myth.【设计意图】:让学生重新梳理文章, 明确写什么,把握文章的结构.在小组合作中完成写作任务, 点评优秀作文,给与写作指导通过以上的教学环节 就基本上完成课文整体教学既:整体-部分-整体首先,快速阅读,提炼写作信息;接着精读分析,洞悉文意;最后:整体把握,梳理写作脉络。11 Homework(1) Write a short report about the movie The Myth or some other movies .(2) Retell the text using The Indirect Speech.八、教学反思:我很高兴能到瓦房店39中上课,在课堂上学生们给我留下了非常深刻的印象,他们的纯朴与好学让我感动。下面我就本课作一些反思。本课是一节读写课,重在培养学生阅读策略及写作技能。在复习过程中,通过用四幅图片问答复习了直接引语何间接引语得用法。接着以成龙为话题,在轻松气氛中处理本课中一些重点单词,为开展阅读教学做好了铺垫,并且激活了课文相关的背景知识。在导课过程中,通过精心设计的导言,自然过渡到本节课所学的内容,让学生的学习注意力变得更加专注。听力时,设计了两个问题,学生带着问题听录音能初步理解文章大意,并快速捕捉所需要的信息,使学生得到扎实有效的听力训练。由于问题设计得恰到好处 ,学生们回答得非常好。当时可以感觉得到这个环节引起学生的兴趣,激发了他们进一步探究的动力。在初读课文环节,通过总结每一段的中心大意和对句子判断对错,使学生对课文有了整体的了解,宏观上把握了课文的大致结构。在精读过程中根据每一段地特点培养学生各种阅读技能如:快速阅读第一段回答问题,默读第二段找到关键信息完成填写表格, 大声朗读地三段回答五个问题,齐读第四段教师讲解重要语言点;通过这样阅读教学使学生掌握课文的细节,学
