This was a good thing because, although it broke my left leg, it slowed my fall. So when I hit the ground, I broke only three bones in my back and neck. I lay there, looking up at the sky and the empty box high above me. And then I made my second mistake: I let the rope go from my hand. The box was heavier than the rope.
