Align the plumb bob with the point on the ground. When aligned, tighten the adjusting screw. 3) Initial rough leveling the instrument with circular level a) Use leveling screws AB to move the bubble of the circular level until the bubble of the circular level until the bubble is now located on a line perpendicular to a line running through the centers of the two leveling screws being adjusted.b) Revolve the leveling screw C to shift the bubble to the center of the circular.4) Further leveling the instrument with plate level a) Loosen horizontal motion clamp and revolve the instrument. By adjusting leveling screws AB, the plate level vial is parallel to a line running through the centers of two leveling screws, and place the bubble in the center of the level vial.b) Next, revolve the instrument 90(100g) around its vertical axis and use the remaining screw C to center the level bubble once more.c) Repeat the above procedure for each 90revolution of the instrument and check whether the level bubble is correctly centered for all points.5) Centering the instrument with optical plummetAdjust the eyepiece of the optical plummet telescope to the users eyesight. Move the instrument by loosening adjusting screw. Coincide image of the point on the ground with the center mark of the optical plummet telescope. Carefully move the instrument in order to make it steady.The centerThe instrument point 6) Final leveling of the instrument Repeat procedure of d. and check whether the level bubble is in the center of the level vial. Finally tighter adjusting screw.2.2 Power switch on 1. Push the power switch on. All segments of the display will light for about 2 seconds. Rotate the telescope and it will hint set the vertical angle 0 (rotate the telescope and preparing to measuring).2. If battery is insufficient, replace battery or to charge it. Please see 2.3 Battery display.2.3 Battery level Battery mark in the display indicates the power condition.V : 901020HR: 00000 SD HD NEZ OSET P1We can see the battery, when the mark is glint, the battery is used up. We should stop and change a new one or charge it. Note: a. Please see 8 batteries and charge it. b. The battery is connection with the measuring mode. the battery in the angle measuring mode is bigger than in the distance measuring mode. So there is normally the instrument can work in the angle measuring mode, but not in the distance measuring mode.2.4 Vertical inclined correctedThe inline on the X axisThe zenith modeWhen the compensator is working, it can self-motion compensate the incline angle. In order to ensure the precision of the angle, we must set the TILT on.If it display the TILT OVER , it say incline over the compensate arrange. We must level the instrument.Note: When you meet the gale or the quiver surrounding, the angle display is not stabilization. Press F5(ENT), return.F5F1F1F52.5 Input the letter and the dataYou can input the letter and the data, eg.
