不可知的。在翻译理论界，也存在着风格可译和不可译的争论。本文依据刘宓庆 的风格翻译理论，对杨宪益红楼梦译本中对人物语言风格的传递进行了探讨。 在引言部分，本文首先界定了什么是风格，介绍了不同学者对风格的看法和 观点。然后引出了第一部分“刘宓庆的风格翻译理论”。根据该理论，风格可以见 诸于“形”，表现为风格的符号体系。风格的符号体系就是在原文的语言形式上可 被人们认识的风格标记。风格标记分为形式标记和非形式标记。形式标记由六种 类属性标记组成：音系标记、语域标记、词汇标记、篇章标记、旬式标记和修辞 标记。这些风格标记能使我们得以从语言形式上认识原作所承载的风格意义。另 外，要全面、准确地认识原作的风格单凭直观的形式符号是不够的。风格中确实 存在所谓神韵、风骨、气势等“非形式因素”，我们称之为风格的非形式标记。非 形式标记具有整体性、开放性、兼容性和独特性的特点。这些也是认识文学作品 风格的重要组成部分。 本文第二章介绍了风格的可译性和风格的翻译方法。根据刘宓庆的风格翻译 理论，风格可以通过风格标记为人们所认识，大多数风格标记是可以转换的，例 如语域标记、词汇标记以及大部分修辞标记在双语转换中都可以做到比较理想的 契合。非形式标记中的表现法汉英是大体契合的，因此风格是可译的。风格的翻 译策略有三种：对应式换码( 即所谓“模仿”) 、重构式换码( 风格意义的再创 造) 和淡化式换码( “淡化”的实质是在确保概念意义的前提下不得已放弃或部分 放弃风格意义) 。 本文第三章研究了红楼梦人物语言的基本风格特点。红楼梦被看作是 一部语言百科全书，在中国文学史上有着举足轻重的地位。红楼梦中的人物 拥有与之个性、气质、文化相符的语言，另外，人物语言对塑造红楼梦人物 形象有着重要作用。 本文第四章从音系标记( 包括叠音、儿化韵、压韵、谐音) 、词汇标记( 包括 拆词镶嵌、动词、形容词和代词的应用) 和修辞标记( 明喻、暗喻、委婉、仿词、 夸张、借代、比拟、飞白) 三方面对红楼梦人物语言风格进行分析，并剖析 了杨译本在红楼梦译本中如何传递这三种风格标记，使用何种翻译策略以及 原因。 通过研究发现，杨译本使用频度比较高的风格传递方法是对应式换码，既模 仿原文的风格和写作方法，并且他的译本紧紧抓住了原文的风格意义，建立在对 原文透彻理解的基础上，并且在译文中使用与原文风格相契合的表达方法，因此 他的译本是忠实于原文的，基本上重现了原文的风格。 最后，文章提出了一些有待解决的问题，比如能否从语言学角度对非正式风 格标记进行分析。在分析文学作品的风格和风格传递中，形式标记和非形式标记 哪一个更为重要。 关键词：风格风格标记形式标记人物语言红楼梦 S
