Tom Hanks who starred as the title character in this film won the Best Actor Oscer in the 1944 Academy Award. This film makes everybody think the real meaning of life.,About this movie,Forrest Gump is one of the best movies that one should see in your life. Through watching it, I benefit a lot.Here I want to say something that I learn from it in one respect. Now this is the topic that I shall illustrate in this class.,Gumps way to success,After watching this movie ,I believe everyone of us has a lot to say. Maybe it is the love story between Gump and Jenny,maybe it is the education that Mrs Gump gives to her son. Here I would like to bring my question to everybody.,Why Forrest Gump finally become a successful man? Is it because he has a higer IQ?,Definitely the answer is NO. It tells us that Gumps IQ is only 75,a number much lower than the normal level.,Is it because he has a great family background?,We learn that Gump is living with Mrs Gump who is clearly a widow. Mrs Gump doesnt have a job.They makes a living by renting their houses to travellers passing by.,Now we are confused about the question we have mentioned before. Why Forrest Gump finally become a successful man? Here I would like to explain it in my own viewpoint.,First of all, I think the method Mrs Gump teaches her son has influence on it.,She always told Gump that he had no difference with other children. She spared her effort to sent him to public school to get better education instead of the special school where Gump should go.,Her endeavor makes Gump always consider himself as a normal person and build his own confidence. He definitely has a great mother who is willing to sacrifice everything to make a contribution to her sons success. Mrs Gump said something which I think is very interesting,Now let us review them.,life was like a box ochocolates. You never know what you are gonna get. Its my time. Its just my time.Oh.now ,dont you be afraid sweetheart. Death is just a part of life .Something we are all destined to do .I didnt know it ,but I was destined to be your momma .I did the best I could .,The second person we should mention here is no doubt the Jenny.,The first time they met ,Jenny offered to sit with him when nobody likes him.That was a lovely scene. Then they hang in together playing and helping each other .Jenny was patient to teach Gump to read and write. What a pretty girl !,Jenny teached Gump an important lesson which in my view changed his original way of life. Jenny: Run Forrest ,run! Run Forrest! This smallest action do help him a lot.He won a medle for running fast enough to rescue his teammate and got the chance to meet with the president.,Clearly they has different way of life,in fact the time left to them staying together is very little. At the end of the movie ,Jenny came back with pains and sorrows.Gump was happy for her returning and he said this is the happiest time in her life. God bless you all.,We should never forget Bob Hope who is Gumps best friend in Vietnam.,Bob asked Gump to join him to do a business of shrimp and he had already had a perfect plan for it. Gump promised him to do it. Unfortunately Bob died near a river in vietnam leaving Gump alone.,Gump did not fail his best friend,with Bobs plan he makes himself a successful businessman together with Taylors help. He lives up to his promise.,I guess Lt. Dan Taylor is very important too.Gump saved him from dying in the war. After they were retired from the army,they cooperated to open a company . They owned a shrimp ship named after his girl Jenny . Gump is the captain and Taylor is the first mate .,The name brings him good luck.their ship survived from a storm and had a great harvest.,Certainly we should not belong Gumps success to all these peoples help. They all have their influence on Gumps mind. The most important factor I think is Gump himself.Though his IQ is very low,he definitely has a very high EQ .
