Unit 6 Water,How to save water in the home,By thinking carefully about how much water you use at home and changing some water-wasting habits, it is easy to save water., Wash vegetables and fruit in a bowl rather than under a running tap, and use the leftover water for watering house plants. Take shorter showers. Shorter showers will not only save water but also reduce your water heating costs., Put your cotton wool and tissues in a waste bin rather than flush them down the toilet. A dripping tap can waste up to 4 litres of water a day. Replace broken tap washers for a quick and cheap way of saving water., Wash with a full load （满载）.
