Teaching presentationGood morning, Ladies and Gentlemen!My name is Zhang Fan .Its my pleasure to stand here and show my teaching plan with all of you! Today Im going to talk about Part A of Unit 5, PEP Primary English, Book 6. Look at the monkeys. My teaching plan includes four parts.Part 1.Teaching material (说教材)I establish the following two teaching aims of this lesson:1: Ss can listen, read, say and spell the following words: flying, walking jumping, running, swimming.2: Ss can use the following sentence patterns: Look at the tiger! Its jumping! What is doing? ItsI think the most difficult point of this period is to make sure the students can use the words and the patterns in their daily life correctly. I will focus on ing form and the spelling of “swimming and running”.Part 2. Teaching and learning methods (说教法与学法)As we all know, the aims of teaching English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. Make sure the students take part in class. Ask and answer in pairs and groups. Ill use task-based method, communicative method, group cooperate method, TPR method, performance and games methods to teach this lesson. I will let the Ss learn in real situations. In order to interest the Ss,Ill use some pictures, words and sentence cards, and the multi-media computer as my teaching aids and to help me achieve the aims.Part 3.Teaching procedures(说教学过程)Step1. Warm-up (热身)Before my class, Ill let the students to sing an English song together, Do some TPR, What are they? They are cows/ hens/goats/sheep/horses . Remind of more animals. Then free talk between T and Ss. T: Whats your favourite animals? S: I like (rabbit) T: What can the (rabbit) do? S: The (rabbit) can jump. Ask more Ss, the Ss may answer like this, tiger-run, monkey-climb and so on.Step2. Lead-in. (导入新课)T takes a pleasant goat out, and asks the Ss: Whats this? Ss will say美羊羊. T: What can she do? You know?CAI shows美羊羊fly, walk, swim.Step3.Presentation. Now Ill mainly talk about this step.1. CAI shows: walk/walking. Let the Ss know the different between walk and walking. v+ ing 正在2. Use some gestures to learn the words: flying/ walking/ jumping/ swimming/ running. Pay attention to double m, double n. (bomb game or game).Put the word cards on the blackboard.3. CAI shows the pleasant goats, they are so happy .T: How about the big wolf? 哈哈,小肥羊,我就等你们来咯!4. CAI shows, the big wolf goes and finds the goats, a bird flies across the wolf. And says: look at the bird, the bird is flying! Let the Ss say the sentence one by one and say something about flying. Let one S puts the picture beside the word card.Use the same way to teach the sentences:The elephant is walking! The rabbit is jumping!The fish is swimming! The tiger is running!Use the same way to practice (read them together, one by one, make sentences)Lets find the differences(找不同)The Ss will do it in this way:Picture 1 the bird is flying. Picture 2 the duck is flying5. CAI shows: The red wolf (红太狼) beats the big wolf(灰太狼). The red wolf asks: Whats the bird doing? The big wolf answers: Its flying!Use the same way to teach the sentence patterns:Whats the elephant doing? Its walking!Whats the rabbit doing? Its jumping!Whats the fish doing? Its swimming!Whats the tiger doing? Its running!6. CAI shows: There are many kinds of animals in the picture. Group1 ask Group 2 .Ss answer. UseWhats doing? Its .Then exchange.Step3: Consolidation (巩固)1. Look and sayLook at the CAI, work in pairs. Encourage them to speak moreEnglish.2. ChantWalking, walking, the tiger is walking.Jumping, jumping, the rabbit is jumping. Step4: Homework. (作业)1.Do the work book.2.Copy the new words.3. Tell your dear mummy and daddy
