初中英语教案设计教材:(Go for it ) 八年级(上)课题:Unit 2 Whats the matter? Section A (1a-1c)一、Teaching aims and demands: 1. The Goal of Knowledge The names of each part of the body.Target language: Whats the matter? I have a cold /stomachache. 2. The Goal of ability: Learn to use the new vocabulary and target language to talk about your illness in the daily life.3.The Goal of Moral: Learn to care about others in your daily life.4.教材分析:本单元第一课介绍许多表示身体部位的新单词及描述身体某部位不适及问病、病人说病等句型。为该单元以后练习提供听、说、读基础。5.学情分析 表身体部位部分单词学生已学,在此基础增加的是较难:stomachache,soreback,throat,toothache.学生在这些单词的发音上有一定的困难,应利用单词读音分解法分解其发音。have 表示“患”病,新的用法学生第一次接受。Whats the matter?中the固定用法与 Whats wrong?同义。二、Teaching important points 1. Names of the parts of the body. 2. Target language:- Whats the matter?- I have a cold. I have a stomachache. I have a sore throat.三、Teaching difficult points1. pronounce some names of the body part, eg: stomachache, throat.2. be able to talk about the problems in our health.3. Different uses of the word “have”四、Period designOne period (forty-five minutes)五、Teaching Strategy1. Teaching method: by playing games- Polly says: touch your head and by reading and acting in the supposed situation, teaching the students “word building”2. ToolsA picture of each part of the body, slider, a chart and word cards, tape recorder.六、Teaching Steps 教 学 过 程设 计 意 图Step1: Review (by talking freely)Name each part of our body which we have learned.T- Whats this?S- Its head/hand/leg.1、通过学生熟悉的身体部位,复习相应的单词,从而过度自然地引入新课Step2: Presentation 1 by the babys picture Teach new words -Whats this? -Its stomach Its arm/back/ear/foot/throat. playing games to recognize the names of the parts of body-Polly says: Touch your head/foot/back/stomach/ear.2、通过看、说,从而更好地理解、学习新词汇;再通过Polly says游戏增加学生学习兴趣,使他们动口,动手,更好地认知,巩固刚所学新单词,从而学以致用。Presentation 2 (by the slide in which many people are in the doctors office)Present the target languageDoctor: whats wrong?/whats the matter?/whats your trouble?Patient 1: I have a cold/I catch./I get.Patient2: I have a stomachache./I catch./I get.3通过幻灯片使学生更能理解目标语言,使英语教学更加情景化。再次通过同义句whatsthe matter?=whats wrong?= whats your trouble?同义词组have a cold=catch a cold=get a cold从而有助于拓展,延伸学生的课外知识。教 学 过 程设 计 意 图Step3 New Teaching Procedure(books open)Task11a Introduce the situation in the picture. Let the students look and say.1.-Whats a/b/c. -Its hand/head/arm.2. Let the students match the letter with the right words in 1a.3. Check the answer above,practice like this : T: arm /neck /leg. S: K / D / B .在Task1 教学过程中通过看图,练习说新单词,从而解决重点。Master the names of each part of the body .Tast2 Warming up By picture in 1a ,let the student ask and answer to learn to express the illness.S1: Whats the matter?S2: He has a stomachache.She has a toothache.He has a headache.She has a earache.在Task2 教学过程中,通过目标语言的操练有助于引导学生分析、了解一些构词法,如stomachache,headache, toothache,earache.都以ache 结尾,ache means pain.当然有些学生在表达“我喉咙痛时”可能会说成“I have a throat ache”应及时纠正,应该说“I have a sore throat”通过操练后的分析,从而更有助于学生掌握目标语言(learn to express the illness)从而突破重难点,也为下一步听力做好准备。 Task3 Listening 1b 1.Introduce the situation2.Let the Ss listen ,then number 1-5在通过看、说及问与答的基础上再通过听的练习更好地掌握及运用目标语言.Task4 1c Group Work Give each group a task: Going to the doctors office in the picture and making conversation.在以上各步骤的学习基础上,由教师引导学生操练到学生独立操练,从而完成从Drill到Practice的转变.教 学 过 程设 计 意 图Example: A: Whats the matter with you? B: I have a sore throat. A: whats the matter with him/her/David? B: He/She has a sore throat,too.Step4 Sum up 1. Name the parts of body 2. Master the new vocabulary of the bodys parts3. Word building Ache shows pain .4. Target language - Whats the matter/wrong? (its used to ask illness) - I have s headache. She has a headache.(to express the illness) 5.Explain diffevent uses of “have”!have表示吃,喝Have breakfast / lunch super /have a drink of orange have表示举行have a meeting concert. have其它用法have a look at,have a class,have通过Sum up,从而帮助学生更好地疏理本堂课所学知识,有助培养学生归纳知识的能力。同时通过本节课大量的操练,学生在掌握have表示患病新的用法基础上,又小结复习have原来的其它用法,从而使学生将所学知识进行新旧对比,融会贯通。Step5 HomeworkMake up the similar conversations by gestures, and then act in groups in next class.七、板书设计Unit 2 Whats the matter?Section A (1a-1c)head Whats the matter? stomach + achehand Whats wrong? head + acheleg Whats your trouble? tooth + achestomach ear + achearm I have a cold. .back I catch a cold.ear I get a cold.footthroat She has a cold.eye She catches a cold. neck She gets a cold.八、教学实践反思本课通过大量的图片及幻灯片的使用,体现了英语教学的情景化,有利于学生理解目标语言,从而更顺利地展开各项说语言的活动。例如在step2中下列用a picture of a baby,从而更好地教新单词,再次通过polly says Touch your head游戏,使学生在参与活动中,更好地认知新单词,此外在有关医务室医生给病人看病的幻灯片中介绍目标语言,这样有助于理解和运用目标语言,再次在step3的教学活动中通过运用目前倡导的任务型教学活动,从而将各个教学环节落到实处。不足之处,本人认为在大量的看、听、说基础上,应设一些写的练习,还可增设一些扮演各种病情的姿体语言及表情教学,更有助于学生对新词汇的记忆及新句型理解。此外本课词汇量较大,课后听写发现学生掌握不够理想,为此我认为对于初二的学生(尤其是农村中学,他们没有丝毫的小学英语基础)应加强词汇教学,如分部位四肢部位、五官部位展开单词教学:nose eye,ear,head,mouth,tooth.采取一些形象,易记的方法或顺口溜等。(每个人有
