Unit 4 I want to be an actor教案设计:朱丽媛(江西南丰市山中学)教学目标:1. 学会不同工作的英文表达方式。2. 了解同学父母的工作。3. 学会简单的介绍自己将来的理想。教学重点:重点词汇:shop assistant,doctor, actor,reporter,policeman,waiter, bank clerk, student,farmer重点句型:1. What does your mother do? She is a doctor. What does your father do?He is a policeman. 2. What do you want to be? I want to be a teacher. What does she want to be? She wants to be an actor.教学难点:让学生能够自如的谈论各种不同的工作,并简单的介绍自己父母的工作, 和自己将来的理想。 本节课流程图教学过程Step 1.Lead in Let students listen to a beautiful English song and let them guess the name and singer of the song .(通过这环节,引起学生对英语的兴趣并及时导入新课:关于英语职业的名称。).Step 2.Task 1:Know the names of the different jobs1.Show some pictures to the students and help them guess the names of the jobs2.Divide students into several groups,supply some riddles about jobs,let them guess what job it is .1) I work in the hospital every day. My work is very hard but also very important. I always wear white clothes and I can save peoples lives.The patients need my help. 2) I drive a car every day, but the car is not mine. There are many people sitting in my car every day. After they go out of the car, they must pay me money.3) My job is very dangerous but interesting. I always help people .But thieves dont like me .4) I am very proud of my job. Because I am like your mother. I will tell you what is right and what is wrong. Sometimes I am very strict.5) I work with people and money ,I am very busy every day . People give me their money or get their money from me.6) I work in a restaurant and I always carry some fruits and dishes. I often ask people: What would you like? I am really very busy.(本环节,教师先用多媒体展示出服务员、医生、演员、运动员、记者、警察、店员、学生等多种职业的任务图片,完成本单元新单词的学习。这种既有画面又有声音的导入方式能够引起学生的兴趣,并给学生真实感。然后通过提供给学生对于不同工作的具体描述,让学生猜出工作的名称,在做猜谜游戏时学生能够做到精神更集中,并能激发学生的主动参与性。)Step 3.Task 2: Know what your group members parents do.1.Group work:Students in each group ask and answer each others questions by using the sentences“What does your mother do?She is a(an) ”“What does your father do?He is a.”NameMothers jobFathers jobLi Xin Shop assistantdriver 2. Tell the class about their survey.3.Let students leave their seats to find“ whose parentsjob is the same as yours ”,continue practicing the sentences “What does your mother do?”“What does your father do?” (本环节通过小组活动和学生感兴趣的话题,让学生最大限度地操练了本课的重点句型之一:询问职业,极大地调动了学生的积极性。)Step 4.Task 3 What do you want to be ? And why ?1. Tell the students your dream and the reason:Im a teacher. But I like talking with different people.so I want to be a reporter. What do you want to be? And why ?2.Group work :tell something about yourself ,your likes and your ideal job .3.Ask one of the students in each group to make a report about their group members likes and ideal jobs.(本环节先通过小组操练,让学生学会用简单的句型来介绍自己及自己的理想,让学生充分掌握本课的另一重点句型:谈论理想。再要求学生归纳汇报,从而更全面地训练了学生的归纳表达能力。)Homework: write a short passage to introduce yourself and your ideal job . Topic:What do I want to be?教案特色:这是第四单元的第一课时,任务主要是导入本单元的基本词汇和基本句型,针对农村学生基础较差,不敢开口等特点,我以任务型教学理念为指导,围绕“职业”这一话题,设计了一系列和学生生活密切相关的话题和活动,让学生在完成这些任务的过程中去感受,体验,学习,并运用语言进行交际,充分体现了以学生为主体的教学思想。1. 在导入新课时,我利用了学生最喜欢的歌曲方式,既吸引了学生的兴趣,又自然地引出了本课地重点。2. 在学习新单词时,我首先通过多媒体,从图、文、声等多角度、多途径、多方位地为学生展示了和“职业”有关的画面,帮助学生形成深刻的印象。再通过猜谜比赛的形式,让学生通过工作的描述,来猜测工作的名称,更
