倒 装 句,Inversion,英语句子的语序,英语句子的自然语序：,主语 + 谓语动词,英语句子的倒装结构:,谓语动词的全部或一部分放在主语之前,e.g. I saw Mary yesterday. Did you see her?,Only in this way can we solve the problem.,Round the corner came a car.,倒装句分为两种：,、整个谓语放在主语之前，叫完全倒装。,e.g. There is a table in the room.,Here comes the bus.,2、部分谓语（情态动词、助动词、连系动词）在主语之前，谓语的主体部分仍在主语之后，叫部分倒装。,e.g. Why did you do it like that?,Never shall I forget it.,一、完全倒装,1.由here, there, now, then引导的句子, 其谓语动词是be, go, come, exist, follow等.,e.g. Here is a letter for you.,There goes the bell.,There is a book on the desk.,Now comes your turn.,Then came a new difficulty.,注:代词做主语时,只把该副词提前,主谓语序不变.,Here it is.,There you go again.,2.在描写一个情景时,为了使情景生动逼真,常将副词out, in, up, down, away之类的状语放至句首,这时主谓需要完全倒装.,e.g. Out rushed a tiger from the bushes.,Away went the children.,Down flew a bird.,Up went the arrow into the air.,In he comes.,Up it flew.,注:代词做主语时,只把该副词提前,主谓语序不变.,3.以地点状语开头的句子,其谓语动词是be, live, lie, stand等.,On the grass lie a group of boys.,Under the tree stands a girl.,In the village live two blind men.,e.g. At the back of your school is a unit.,4.表语位于句首时， 倒装结构为“表语+连系动词+主语”,A: 形容词+连系动词+主语,e.g. present at the meeting were Professor White,Professor Smith and many other guests.,B:过去分词+连系动词+主语,e.g. Gone are the days when they could do what they liked to the Chinese people.,C: 介词短语+be+主语,e.g. Among the goods are Christmas trees, flowers and toys.,二、部分倒装,1.用于so, nor, neither 开头的句子，表示前 面的情况也适合于另一个人(物)。句中的谓 语应与前句谓语的时态、形式相一致。,e.g. He has been to Beijing. So have I.,Li Ming cant answer the question. Neither can I.,(肯定句),(否定句),注意：）如果后一个句子只是单纯的重复前面句子的意思，则不倒装。 e.g. “It is hot today”,”So it is.” “He finished it on time.”So he did.”,2) 如按照别人的意思做了什么事，so也不用倒装。,3)当前面的句子中包含不同的主语、谓语或肯定、否定形式时，则用so it is with. / it is the same with句型来表示前面的情况也适合于另一个人(物) 。,e.g. The teacher asked me to read louder , and I did so.,e.g. Tom likes singing, but he doesnt like dancing.So it is with Mary. So it is with Mary.,2.以not, never, seldom, little, nowhere, barely, scarcely, rarely, in vain,等否定副词及含有no的短语at no time, no longer, by no means, in no time以及频度副词often, many a time, not once, always等开头的句子.,e.g. Never have I seen such a wonderful film.,In vain did we try to persuade him to give up smoking.,At no time will China be the first to use nuclear weapons.,Not always can people do what they want to.,含有否定词提前的特殊句型:,A. not onlybut also 不但而且,e.g. Not only did I know her, but also I am her close friend.,B. not until 直到才,e.g. Not until the teacher came in did he finish his work.,C. hardlywhen 一就 no sooner. than,e.g.No sooner had Black got home than the phone rang.,D. neithernor 既不也不,e.g. Neither did I know this nor did I want to.,注意：,1) 当上述单词不提前时，则不倒装。,e.g. I seldom read newspaper before.,He had hardly finished his homework when the light went out.,2)当这些词作形容词修饰主语时且置句首时，句子不倒装。,e.g. Little work was done yesterday.,3. 用于only 开头的句子（only放在句首，修饰副词、介词短语或状语从句）。,e.g. Only then did I realize that I was wrong.,Only in this way can you master English.,Only when the war ended was he able to return home.,注意：,1)当上述单词不提前时，则不倒装。,2)当only修饰主语时且置句首时，句子不倒装。,e.g. He came only yesterday.,e.g. Only Wang Lin knows this.,4. so + 形容词 / 副词以及such + 名词放在句首时,则主句 需使用部分倒装, 从句不倒装.,e.g. Such a good boy is he that we all love him.,So loudly did he speak that the people sat at the back could hear him dearly.,5. 省略if的虚拟条件句,e.g. Should he be interested in this subject, he might work hard at it.,Had I known the answer I should have told you.,Were I not busy now, I would help you.,6. as 引导的让步状语从句, 意为“尽管”. 通常把句中状语, 表语部分或动词提前, 若表语是名
