礼貌原则视角下跨文化交际语用失误及其对策研究 摘要 礼貌作为一种社会现象存在于所有社会中，成为各种语言使用者为避免交际冲突而采 用的一种得体手段，是所有社会成员都应遵守的行为准则。因此礼貌作为人类文明的标志， 是语言学的一个重要研究领域，国内外学者在这一领域取得了不少杰出研究成果。本文重 点介绍了G r i c e 的合作原则、L e e c h 的礼貌原则、B r o w n 和L c v i n s o n 的面子理论、毛履鸣 教授以及顾日国教授的中国礼貌研究。这些理论研究在指导人们如何通过礼貌策略实现成 功交际方面，做出了突出贡献。 跨文化交际者的最终目的是沟通成功，然而交际成功与否，在很大程度上取决于说话 者的礼貌表达方式是否得体。尽管礼貌具有社会普遍性，但也具有文化特性。由于文化的 差异性，人们对礼貌内涵的解读也不尽相同。在跨文化交际中，人们往往会依据由其自身 文化所决定的礼貌准则，来判断对方的言行是否得体，因此误解或交际失败的产生在所难 免。语言学家将这种交际失败称之为语用失误。语用失误相对于语法错误而言，更加不被 本族语使用者所容忍，也更容易导致交际双方的关系恶化。因此对于跨文化交际者而言， 深入了解不同文化中的礼貌内涵和表现形式是完全必要的。 本文在礼貌原则视角下对跨文化交际中的礼貌语用失误现象进行了深入研究。在这一 研究基础上，本文旨在提出减少语用失误，实现有效跨文化交际的策略。 本文除引言及结论外，共分为五章。 引言扼要地介绍了本文的研究背景、目的以及论文的主要内容。 一， 第一章是文献综述。主要介绍了中西方语言学家在礼貌这一语用领域的理论研究。这 些研究成果对本文的礼貌语用失误分析具有重要的理论指导意义。 第二章主题为跨文化交际与语用失误，该章由三部分组成。首先探讨了文化与交际的 特点及其联系；继而对跨文化交际的定义进行了界定，并简要分析了其特点；最后对语用 失误进行了阐释。语用失误分为语用语言失误及社交语用失误。 第三章重点研究了英汉两种文化模式中称呼语、招呼语、恭维语、道歉语及致谢语的 不同礼貌规范和表达方式，同时从礼貌原则角度对跨文化交际中的礼貌语用失误现象进行 了详细分析。不同的文化具有不同的礼貌表达方式。由于受其自身文化的影响以及对目标 语礼貌策略缺乏了解，交际者有可能在跨文化交际中沿用其母语文化中的礼貌策略，从而 导致语用失误的产生。 第四章从语言语用、社交语用以及文化的角度对跨文化交际语用失误的成因进行了深 入探究，进一步指出语用负迁移，不正确的教学引导以及不同的文化价值观念、交际模式 和礼貌准则等是引起跨文化交际语用失误的主要原因。 第五章在上述分析的基础上，提出了避免语用失误的策略。具体说来，对跨文化交际
