Repeat the procedure for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.3. Now present the question form, What day is it today? Write the question on the board and explain its meaning. Read the question aloud. Point to the words as you do so. Have the children repeat the question after you.4.Now review the two answer forms, Today is Monday. And It “What day is it today?” The other children should answer, “ Today is Tuesday.” or “Its Tuesday.”5. Learn the other structures like this. And then have the children open their books at page 2. Direct their attention to the pictures at the top of the page. As you play the tape, have the children touch the matching picture or word.4. Replay the tape while showing your copy of the page. Stop the tape after each sentence and have the children repeat the sentence.5. Play the tape again without stopping. Have the children say the sentences along with the tape. Then without the tape, point to one of the pictures or sentences and elicit the sentences from the children.repeat for all the other pictures.Step 4.
