Explanation on Standard Transferring According to the requirements of Zhijijianju No.216 1998 Bidding Letter by National Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and Guojiguan No.126 1999 Administrative Reply by State Administration of Machinery Industry, we now transfer the original standard code ZB T23 005-87 to the present industrial standard code QC/T 303-1999 without changing the contents at present. Please use the new standard code when quoting it.China Automotive Industry StandardTechnical Conditions for Automobile Power Steering Oil ReservoirZB T23 005-87This standard is applicable to the steering oil reservoir in the automobile hydraulic steering booster.1 General Principles1.1 The products shall comply with the requirements of this Standard, and manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents permitted by specified procedures.1.2 The following items must be included in the relevant drawings or technical conditions of the products: a. Code;b. Total volume V, l;c. Maximum allowable oil storage volume Vmax, 1;d. Minimum allowable oil storage volume Vmin, 1;e. Maximum allowable through flow Qmax, l/min; f. Absolute filter fineness, m. Absolute filter fineness: the diameter of maximum spherical particles that can go through the steering oil reservoir filter element.2 Technical Requirements for the Products2.1 No damage or defect is allowed in any part of the product.2.2 The filter element shall comply with the specifications of relevant national standards.2.3 Let 0.5MPa of compressed air into the product and keep it for 5 minutes, making sure there is no air leakage.2.4 The inside of product shall be clean and free of residues.2.5 The oil inlet and outlet shall be plugged, with both the inside and outside surfaces anti-rust treated. 3Test Procedure3.1 Plug the outlet of the oil reservoir and let in 0.5MPa of compressed air by it inlet and keep the pressure for 5 minutes while observing if any air leakage exists.3.2 The test items and test methods for the oil reservoir filter element shall comply with the specifications of relevant national standards.4Inspection Rules4.1 The product shall pass the inspection before leaving the factory, and the documents indicating the product is qualified must be attached.4.2 Sampling procedures and amounts shall comply with the specifications of GB 2828-81 (Sampling procedures and tables for lot-by-lot inspection by attributes).5Marking, packaging, storing and caretaking5.1 The products shall be marked with manufacturer name and brand before leaving the factory.5.2 The packaging shall comply with JB 2759-80 (General Specifications for Packaging of Mechanical and Electrical Products) and carry the manufacturer certificate, which includes the following contents: a. Manufacturer name or trade mark;b. Product name and code;Approved by China State Committee of Machine Building Industry on April 3, 1987Effective date: January 1, 1988ZB T23 005-87c. Official seal of the manufacturers quality control department;d. Manufacturing date or production lot number;5.3 The outside packaging shall be marked with: a. Manufacturer name or trade mark;b. Product name and code;c. Consignee and its address;d. packaging quantity, gross weight and net weight;e. Manufacturing date or production lot number;f. Words and markings such as “Handle with care”, “Guard against damp” and son on.5.4 Store the products in dry and well-ventilated environment.
