包法利夫人讲的是一位小资产阶级妇女爱玛,因为不满足平庸的生活而自甘堕落与人通奸,最终因为负债累累无力偿还而身败名裂,服毒自杀。 很多的评论认为,是资产阶级思想的腐朽和当时的时代使爱玛走向死亡。但在我看来,应该是永无休止的欲望,最终使爱玛走向了灭亡。 在少女时代,爱玛接触到了大量的资产阶级新小说,使她在思想上对富裕、浪漫的生活充满了向往。当她第一次遇见包法利时,她涉世未深、情窦初开,以为包法利就是她的“真命天子”。但成了包法利夫人之后,她对平庸的生活感到失望。于是天天顾影自怜,希望遇见一场让她刻骨铭心的恋爱。当天遇见莱昂时,她心动了,然而她没有做出出格的事情。这个时候的爱玛还是一个理性能战胜情欲的爱玛。 后来,在情场老手鲁道夫的勾引下,她出轨了。这个时候的爱玛,还是对爱情充满着美好的幻想。但被鲁道夫抛弃之后,对爱情的幻想的破灭,使她开始追求情欲的宣泄,她又成了莱昂的情人,并对物欲不停索求,最终欠下了巨额债务。 故事以爱玛无法偿还债务而情人又拒绝帮助的情况下的死亡结束的。这种死亡也许是对爱玛情欲、物欲无度宣泄的最好归宿。这也许是作者的一种思想,欲望使人疯狂,欲望使人灭亡。 欲望普遍存在,无论哪个时代,哪个人,都有欲望。但无止境,无约束的欲望会使无论哪个时代哪个人都逃离不了灭亡的结局。这也许是我们现代读者阅读这本金典的时候,值得领悟的重要主题,我想。 analysisofmadamebovarysruin566
