一、 教材分析1、 教学内容本节课是新标准英语(三年级起点)第七册Module5 Unit1的内容,主要学习单词Pleased ,meet ,address, pen friend及能够表述自己的能力。 2、教学目标(1)语言知识目标:能听、说、读、写本课的重点单词Pleased ,meet ,address, pen friend;能表达句子Pleased to meet you ! Can you speak English? Can I write to your friend? I can(2)语言能力目标:使学生能利用所学知识向同学及朋友讲述自己的能力(3)情感目标:通过本课的教学,提高学生的自信心,并让学生知道朋友间应该相互帮助。3、教学重点和难点(1)本课出现的新单词(2)掌握“can”的用法。4、教具准备教师制作好自己的名片3张(英语书写,含有address, name, email and I can的信息,并且设计美观)、空白的名片若干张、 多媒体课件和奖励用卡片。二、教学过程Step1:Warming-up1 .Sing a songT: Are you ready for our English class?Ss: YesT: Lets sing a “Lala” song.OK?(Sing the song together and do the actions,first slowly ,then quickly.)【设计意图】欢快简单的“Lala” song调动了学生的情绪,尤其当学生面对的是新老师的时候,这种方法拉近学生和老师之间的距离,融洽师生感情,为下一步上课做好准备。)2.Chant: 教师先做示范,然后学生们学着做,速度要由慢到快。T: Do you like doing exercises, lets do some exercises, OK ? Hands up Hands down I can jump. I can run. 【设计意图】这一环节和本节课的内容相符,既能调节课堂气氛,使学生迅速进入到学习状态,用这种有趣的形式引入了学生已经学过的内容,又为学习新知识作铺垫。Step2 PresentationStep 3 :Presentation利用多媒体,出示两个小朋友相识的画面,让同学们看,教师引导学生为他们配音,练习Pleased to meet you , Glad to meet you, Nice to meet you . 再让每三个同学设计一个介绍同学认识的场面,学习运用刚学会的句子。Model:S1: Hi,S2.S2.:Hi, S1.S1:This is my friend, S3.S3.: Hello, S2. Pleased to meet you/Glad to meet you/Nice to meet you .S2.: Pleased to meet you/Glad to meet you/Nice to meet you .【设计意图】让学生在特定的环境中感受语言,并在创设的氛围中正确的使用语言,会用语言做事才是语言教学的目的。1.T: Hello, boys and girls. My name is Zhao Meiling. So you can call me Ms Zhao. Im from Kaiyuan Primary School. So my address is Kaiyuan Primary School. 教师一边说,一边指着课件上自己的信息来介绍自己的情况。然后板书单词address: Kaiyuan Primary SchoolT:Whats your address?Ss: My address is No.2 Primary School.T: So your address is No.2 Primary School.(教师面向全体学生,并用肢体语言表述。)T: Hello,everyone!Ss: Hello, Ms Zhao. T: Good! In this class, Im your new teacher. I think I can do the best, and you can do the best. Can you?Ss: Yes, I can.【设计意图】Address的介绍, 好像与教学无关,只是新教师的一个自我介绍。却不料,这一切看似无意却是有意设计,一切都是在为本课内容作铺垫,课堂开始的address介绍与课堂最后的My calling card活动首尾呼应,浑成一体,使知识的获得水到渠成。Step4: Practice1. T: Now, I know all of you , Can I ask you some questions? (老师用can 设计三至五个问题,其中重点要问:Can you be my friends? Or can you be my pen friends? 并板书。让学生用Yes, I can ./ No, I cant 来回答。2.当学生很会使用的时候,老师让学生之间运用Can you.句型来进行提问。T: Please ask one by one, but dont say the same sentences.S1: I can speak English , can you ? S2: Yes, I can . (to S3) Can you be my pen friend ? . 【设计意图】这种教学设计是在老师出示了教学重点后,学生间大量的练习,而且学生间句型时,每一个同学所问的问题都不能重复,这就把“知识投入了周转”“投入周转的知识才是活的知识”。学生在描述自己能与不能时,老师及时给予热情的赞扬或给建议,以提高学生的自信心。 Step 5 :New textT: Today we have a new friend, look at the screen .(showing Lauras picture) lets say .? (引导学生运用刚学过的Pleased to meet you 来与画面中的Laura打招呼。T: Here are six questions on the screen. Please try to answer the questions after you watching the cartoon, OK?(学生在听之前先浏览一遍题目,然后看课文动画。)1) Where is Daming from?2) Can Daming speak English?3) Can Daming write English?4) Daming has got two friends from England. Who are they?5) Can Daming be Lauras Chinese pen friend?6) Can Laura write Chinese?2. Now watch again . 【设计意图】通过学生听看和听回答问题,在真实的语境中帮助学生初步理解和感知对话,从而使学生在完成问题的过程中把握故事的主要信息。 3.T: Now read after the tape sentence by sentence. 4. Read and act in groups of three.【设计意图】通过让学生跟读,让学生模仿正确的语音语调,培养学生良好的语感。同时,通过分角色表演读,可以促使学生互相帮助,让每一个孩子都体验到成功的喜悦。) Step6 : Development1. T: Look at the screen! This is my calling card. Name: Zhao Meiling Address: Kaiyuan Primary SchoolEmail: I can write an email, dance and play table tennis.My name is Zhao Meiling.This is my address-Kaiyuan Primary School. Im from Kaiyuan Primary School. This is my email. And I can write an email, dance and play table tennis.2.T: Please make your calling cards now. If you finish, please say “BINGO” loudly.(课前将表格发给每一位学生。)Name: Address: Email: I can 3.教师在课前要做好自己的几张名片,要求漂亮美观,易于吸引学生。教师走到学生中间,选择3名学生谈话,并送出自己美丽的名片。T: Hello. Can I have your name?S1: My name is T: Pleased to meet you!S1:Pleased to meet you,too.T: Can I write to you?S1: Yes, of course. T: This is my address. Here you are!S: Thank you! This is my address, here you are.T: Thank you! Then we can be pen friends.3同桌用手中的名片进行交流。4让五名自告奋勇的学生去寻找笔友,看谁寻找的最多,以手中的名片为准。T: Do you want to make pen friends? Ss: Yes, of course.T: Now please go to your classmates and make pen friends. This is my address in China.(2)能够掌握词汇pleased, meet, address, pen friend.(3)能够运用Can you?这类语句询问能力,并能口头运用Can I write to you?询问可能.(4)帮助学生明确学习目标,培养学生自主、合作的学习方式。培养学生在活动中体会英语学习的乐趣,使他们在小组中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成任务。(二)情感教育目标1.培养学生熟悉生活以及对异国文化的了解和兴趣。2.告诉学生“If you think you can, you can.”的道理。教学准备多媒体课件、单词和句型卡片教学流程与设计意图Step 1: Warm-up1.Do actions设计意图通过师生互动,复习句型“I can , can you? Yes, you can. No, you cant.”并且教师适时适当的评价语可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣。2.Free talkT: Im a new teacher here. Im from Qingdao (PPT).You know my name, Can I know your names? Whats your name? Pleased to meet you! (解释Pleased to meet you!)It means “Glad to meet you!/ Nice to meet you!”设计意图在这种自然交流中不知不觉的学习句型“Pleased to meet you!”使学生真正的在语境中感知,理解和使用英语进行交流。Step 2: Presentation1.Guessing gameT: There is a boy, he can do lots of things. He can make a kite, he can ride a bike. He can speak some English. He is in New Yorknow. His cousin is Simon. Whos he?(Daming) Where is he from?(China)(PPT) Whos he?(Simon) Where is he from?设计意图对于五六年级的学生来说,用猜谜的方式引入新课,更能调动起他们的学习兴趣,而且通过课堂教学的实践发现,这种方式也确实能激发学生的学习兴趣,发散学生的思维,教学效果不错。2.Present the questions “ Who is she?/ Where is she from?”T: Theyre talking about something with a girl. Whos she?(Laura) Where is she from?(Listen and check the answers)3.Present the three questionsCan you?Can I?Can you be?1) T: This is the first time Daming and Laura meet each other. So Laura has some questions to ask. How does she ask? Look at your books, listen and underline the questions with “can”.(explain pen friend in English.)2) Check the answers and write them on the blackboard.4.How does Daming answer?1)Yes, I can speak some English.Yes. This is my address.Yes, of course.(explain address in English.)2)Another question “Can Laura write Chinese?”设计意图我使用提问题的方法让学生带着任务有目的的去听录音找答案,而且这些问题的设置是由易到难的,符合学生的学习规律,同时提高学生自主学习的能力,也贴近了新课程中倡导的“以人为本”的思想。通过本节课的教学,学生能够在这种任务型教学过程中习得知识,逐步的理解和学习课文。5.Listen and circle.6.Judge.设计意图通过这几个判断题可以检验一下学生对文本的理解程度,并且帮助他们巩固所学知识。7. Listen and repeatStep 3: PracticeFill in the blanks.Step 4: Consolidation1.Brain storm设计意图学生运用“I can ”举行进行计时比赛,这个活动可以帮助他们复习以前学过的知识,培养他们的发散性思维,提高他们观察,想象,分析的学习能力,课堂上发现有的学生10秒钟之内居然能够说出7、8个句子,真的是很了不起。2.Guessing game “Can you?”(师生示范,小组活动,全班展示)T: There are something you cant do today, maybe you can do them tomorrow, so remember the sentence “If you think you can, you can.” And try hard, please.设计意图通过师生示范,让学生用“Can you?”的句型来猜,之后在小组活动中让他们去练习这个句型,从而可以让每个孩子都开口说英语。而且在这个活动中适时的进行情感教育,让学生们知道“有志者事竟成”的道理,并且要为之付出努力。Step 5: Summary1.Read the words and sentences on the petition scores设计意图带领学生一起梳理本节课所学知识,总结小组比赛(点燃火炬)的情况,在本节课中,除了采用小组比赛的激励方式外,我主要还采用了鼓励性的评价方式,分别采用了师评、组评、自评等方式;同时,课堂上我适时的使用激励性话语、恰当的动作和眼神交流,让学生渴望成功的心理得到满足,我感觉这也是激励学生积极投身英语学习的一个最简单而有效的方法。Step 6: HomeworkYou know Im from Qingdao.
