小学英语(PEP)五年级上册 Unit 4 What can you do?模块备课教学设计新建县实验小学 程 伟一、 教材解读本教材是PEP人教版第五册 Unit 4 What can you do?的内容。本单元通过询问他人“What can you do”这一话题,学习做家务活的10个动词短语和与此有关的对话。为了学会“What can you do”这个句型,教材设计听、说、读、写方面的练习,使学生能介绍自己能做哪些家务活,询问别人能做什么家务活。最终达到能灵活运用的目的。二、 学情分析五年级学生己具备一定的的英语语汇基础和学习方法,学生有自己的学习方式和习惯,能较自觉的学习英语,记忆单词。但本单元是第一次要求四会掌握动词短语,有一定的难度。教师要做好正确的引导。且本教材内容与学生日常生活联系密切,在教学中应注意结合实际,指导学生每天做适量的家务劳动,并尽量用英文表述。有助于学生的学习。三、 教学目标(一) 知识目标1、 能掌握教材中的四会词cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom, wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed, do the dishes.2、 能掌握教材中的句型 What can you do? I can . 和 Can you ? Yes, I can. / No, I cant.并能灵活正确的使用。3、 能理解课文的对话和短文内容,并正确认读。4、 能了解字母组合or, all, pl, pr 的发音规律,了解Story time、Good to know 的内容。(二) 能力目标1、 能简单介绍自己能做哪些家务劳动,如:I can clean the bedroom. I can cook the meals.2、 能询问别人能做什么家务劳动,如:What can you do? Can you make the bed?3、 能运用在实际中运用教材中的名型。(三) 情感、策略、文化目标1、 情感态度:养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动的好习惯,懂得为社会贡献自己力量,培养乐于助人的优秀品质。2、 学习策略:注重小组合作学习,培养相互沟通和交通的能力。3、 文化目标:了解一些有关安全和环保的生活常识。四、 教学整体设计与构思第一课时1、 学习掌握五个动词短语cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom, empty the trash. 2、 会唱歌曲 “Dog, dog, what can you do?”,并初步熟悉句型:What can you do? I can .第二课时1、 能使用句子:What can you do? I can .并在实际情景中运用。2、 理解句子:Are you helpful at home? You are helpful.第三课时1、 四会掌握句型:What can you do? I can sweep the floor / .2、 理解句子:Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. Just do it.3、 能总结字母结合or, all, pl, pr的发音规律,理解Story time 中的故事。第四课时1、 学习掌握五个动词短语wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed, do the dishes. put away the clothes.2、 说唱Lets chant 部分的歌谣。了解一些有关安全、环保等生活常识。3、 初步熟悉句型:Can you ? Yes, I can. / No, I cant.第五课时1、 能使用句子:Can you ? Yes, I can. / No, I cant. 并能在实际情景中运用。2、 能使用句型完成Task time 中的任务。第六课时1、 四会掌握句型:Can you make the bed /? Yes, I can. / No, I cant.2、 能理解句子:I can play chess. 并完成Lets check 中的练习。五、 教学设计第三课时教学目标:1、 四会掌握句型:What can you do? I can sweep the floor. I can cook the meals. I can water the flowers.2、 能听、说、认读句子:Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. Just do it.3、 能正确完成文后练习,并初步感知句子:Can you ? Yes, I can. / No, I cant.教学重、难点:1、 重点:四会掌握文中的四会句。2、 难点:句子Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. Just do it. 和扩展奥运会的有关内容。教学准备:1、 动词卡片:wash, clean, sweep, cook, water, empty. 6张。2、 A部分动词短语图片6张。3、 录音机、磁带、教科书。教学过程:Step I Revision1、 Lets chant. 分男女对唱A部分的Lets chant.2、 复习A部分的动词短语。老师出示动词卡片,学生说动词短语。如:sweep ( sweep the floor ) cook ( cook the meals )并用这些动词组成其它的短语。如:clean (clean the classroom, clean the desks)3、 复习句型。出示图片,贴黑板上。T:What can you do? S: I can .Step II Presentation1、 听用刚才贴黑板上的图片,听音选择图A或B。(1) What can you do, Sarah? I can clean the bedroom.(2) What can you do at home? I can wash the windows.(3) Mother Goat is ill. What can you do at home, Mike?I can cook the meals.Great! You are helpful. (在该句中做动作帮助学生理解 ill。 教学Mother Goat is ill. 板书)2、 说(1) T: Mike is helpful at home. Are you helpful at home? S: Sure.T: What can you do? S: I can .T: Great! You are helpful. Just do it. (Just do it. 教学该句,板书理解)问两、三个学生,学习该句子。(2)翻至书本48页,看图。Mother Goat is ill, We can help her. ( We can help her. 教学该句,板书理解)(3)学生自己阅读课文,理解课文内容,回答问题:Who can help her? ( monkey, rabbit, zoom, zip)3、读 (1) 听课文录音,再跟录音机读课文。 (2) 分小组表演课文对话。五小组扮演不同角色。 表演完后,问各小组,他们分别做了什么? Monkey, What can you do? Rabbit, What can you do? Zoom, Zip, What can you do? (3) 全班齐读课文。4、写 (1)根据各小组不同的人物扮演及回答,完成文后练习题。 (2)根据黑板上的图片,写四会句。 老师示范写第一幅图。 What can you do? Can you ? 小结:虽然我们在2008年不能成为北京奥运会的志愿者,但希望大家长大后能成为社会的志愿者,帮助一切我们可以帮助的人,建设我们美好和谐的社会。2、布置家庭作业六、教学理念及反思 本文通过听、说、读、写来学习句型:What can you do? 并巩固A部分的四会短语。将学生的生活实际联系起来,让他们说说如果父母病了,你在家里能做些什么?培养学生热爱劳动和乐于助人的品德。但在课文教学时,我复习练习A部分Lets talk 句子的时间太长,而且在本课中We can help her 这个句子学生掌握不好。Class: Name: ( )1.
