S: Fine, thank you!Step 2 Warm-up activities1.Say something about their summer vacations.T: Boys and girls, now you have had a very nice summer vacation, right? S: Yeah. Sing some songs rhymes learned last term. 3.Review some knowledge learned last term.Part 1Step1 Presentation 1.Create a real circumstance to bring out the words and phrases naturally.T (pretending to be hungry ):Boys and girls, I am hungry now, what shouldI do?Ss: You can go to the shop and buy something to eat.T :OK,then I will go to the shop. Lets see whats in the shop? 2.(CAI) shows some food in the shop. T: What are they ? S: Cup cakes,buns and cold drink. T:Yes, lets learn them together,OK? S: OK.cold drinkhave some dumplings feel hungry bun buy 3.Learnthe three words one by one. 4. Learn the rest three phrases: T: Are you hungry? If you are, please pat your stomach and say feel hungry. S: Feel hungry. T: If you are really hungry now, you can go to a shop and buy the things you want with your money, yes? S: Right. T: Now, lets buy a cup cake.Step2Practice1.A game-guess guess guess. T:Lets play agame,OK? S: OK. T: Please watch carefully, I will make some gestures, and you should guess what am I eating , please guess quickly and correctly,are you ready? S: Go!2. Listen to the tape and read the text .3.Write the wordson the exercise books. Pay special attention to their writings.Part 2Step1Revision1. Review the words learned in last period. 2. A game-Guess guess guess. T shows some word cards and let the student to guess them one by one. Hold a petition between boys and girls.Step2Presentation1. T create real circumstance to help the children learning the sentences of Part A. T: On a Sunday afternoon, some students go to the Hua Nan Streetto enjoy the well-known snacks there.Letssee where are they going.2.(CAI) shows the pictures of Part A . Learn the sentences with the help of the pictures.1 Id like to buy some cup cakes. Howmany cakes do you want? I want six cake. 2 Look! Its a shop. Id like a cold drink. Yes, lets buy something to drink.3 Would you like some buns? Im hungry. I want some buns. I feel hungry too. Id like some dumplings.4 Anne, have some cakes. Thank you, Helen. Id like a pie.3.Practise the dialogues between T and S, S and S.4. Show their dialogues in front of the table.5. T provides real condition and help the children to form dialogues by themselves.6. Listen to the tape and read after it.Part 3Step1Presentation1 .(CAI) shows the picture and sentences ofPart D, help the students to read Part D by themselves, underline new words and phrases. It is a sunny Saturday afternoon. The children are at the beach, having a picnic. After playing for a while, they are now hungry. Anne goes to the candy store and buys an ice-cream. Peter is eating a piece of strawberry cake.Lingling is having an apple and Mingming is eating a sandwich. They enjoy eating at the beach.2. Pick new words and phrases out , learn them one by one.Step2Practice1. Read the passage by themselves.2. Listen to the tape and read after it.3. Recite and retell the passage.Part 4Step1Revision of Part A-D.Step2Part E Lets write(CAI) shows the pictures of Part E. Repeat. Ss: farmer Flip the card over to the word side. Continue with the other cards. Explain the words aunt, uncle, and cousin, e.g. My aunt is my mothers/fathers sister.(Draw a family tree on the blackboard) T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each word as you say it. Play the tape and have Ss repeat. Introduce the bonus vocabulary, magazine, newspaper, planner, using regalia.(Review) Put picture cards 14 on the board. T: (Show Ss one of the cards.) What does he/she do? Ss: (Hes) a (farmer). Learn other words with the same way . Do some actions :T :( Action -farmer)S: FarmerT: Listen to the tape and repeat, Play the tape and pause after each sentence for Ss to repeat. Using regalia in the classroom, e.g. a dictionary, have some Ss ask and answer using the first pattern. T: Is this your (dictionary)? S1: No, its not. Its (S2s name)s (dictionary).(Conversation) Put picture cards of Gogo, Tony, and Jenny on the board. (Point to Gogo) Whats his name? Ss: His names Gogo. T: Can he fly? Ss: Yes, he can.Can he use magic? Yes, he can. (Using the book) Point to Gogo in the first picture. T: Gogo is flying in a
