GREETING2. PLAY “OINK”Play the game with the vocabulary cards for cat, chicken, cow, dog, donkey, duck, goat, horse, mouse, pig, rabbit, sheep, and for clothes and means of transportation.3. DRILLReview the days of the week.二、New Concepts1. STUDENT BOOK: L21 N1Remind the students that birds have beaks, feathers and wings. What special characteristics do other animals have? Introduce fur, paws and tail.Point to the small pictures under the photograph of the cat as the teacher and the class say the words a few times.Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.2. PLAY “HAPPY FACE, SAD FACE”教学侧记Ask the students to write pairs of words about animals.Cat and fur (one pair of words goes together), students stand under the happy face.Cow and wings ( one pair does not goes together), students stand under the sad face.3. STUDENT BOOK: L21 N2Discuss the pictures for the chant.a. Whats this?b. What animal is this?c. What is the wearing?d. What colour is it?e. What day is it?Play the audiotape as the students listen. How many legs?What else do I have?活泼可爱的小猫形象创设了轻松和谐的课堂气氛,非常自然地导入新课。新授:fur paws tail 通过图片展示小猫的各部分名称(学生看、听、书空,学生在视觉、听觉得到足够刺激,第一印象深刻)Step2 拓展练习Teacher: What animal has fur?Student: Rabbit 、 Mouse 、Pig Teacher: What animal has paws?Student: Dog 、Tiger 、Lion Teacher: What animal has a tail?Student: Pig、Sheep、 Goat Teacher: Do you have a tail?Student: No.由机械练习转向有意义的学习,使学生的思维更加开阔,知识的运用更加灵活。设计有趣的小游戏(小组活动)1. 学生拿出准备好的单词卡片(paws fur tail)自主设计小游戏,小组可以作猜词游戏(guess),也可以作whats missing 2. 出示学具(一只不完整的小猫)让学生补充完整并标出其各部分名称。(给学生一个自主空间、创作空间培养学生的创新能力,让学生动起来,听、说、读、写、画的能力再次得到锻炼,让孩子们在玩中学、学中玩)3. 小游戏Happy face Sad face (在黑板上画一个笑脸和一个哭脸)把全班同学分成两组,每组中再选出5位同学,一组为term duck 另一组为term chicken . 让全班同学同时听到5个句子,如果句子的描述是Yes ,就站在前;如果句子的描述是No ,就站在前;谁先站在正确的位置上,谁就为本组赢得一朵小红花,再作最后评比。(1) .A cat has fur, paws and a tail.(2) .A duck has two wings.(3) .A cat can fly.(4) .A pig has a tail.(5).
