演讲稿 奥巴马演讲稿【三篇】 奥巴马演讲稿【一】 我从来不是最有希望的候选人。一开始,我们没有太多资金,也没有得到太多人的支持。我们的竞选活动并非诞生于华盛顿的高门华第之内,而是始于得梅因、康科德、查尔斯顿这些地方的普通民众家中。 我们的竞选活动能有今天的规模,是因为辛勤工作的人们从自己的微薄积蓄中拿出钱来,捐出一笔又一笔5美元、10美元、20美元。而竞选活动的声势越来越大则是源自那些年轻人,他们拒绝接受认为他们这代人冷漠的荒诞说法;他们离开家、离开亲人,从事报酬微薄、极其辛苦的工作;同时也源自那些已经不算年轻的人们,他们冒着严寒酷暑,敲开陌生人的家门进行竞选宣传;更源自数百万的美国民众,他们自动自发地组织起来,证明了在两百多年以后,民有、民治、民享的政府并未从地球上消失。这是你们的胜利。 iwanttocongratulateallofyoutheparents,thegrandparents,thebrothersandsisters,thefamilyandfriendswhosupportedtheseyoungmeninsomanyways.thisisyourday,aswell.justthinkaboutityoursons,yourbrothers,yournephewstheyspentthelastfouryearsfarfromhomeandclosetospelman,andyettheyarestillheretoday.(applause.)soyouvedonesomethingright.graduates,giveabigroundofapplausetoyourfamilyforeverythingthattheyvedoneforyou.(applause.) iknowthatsomeofyouhadtowaitinlonglinestogetintotodaysceremony.andiwouldapologize,butitdidnothaveanythingtodowithsecurity.thosegraduatesjustwantedyoutoknowwhatitsliketoregisterforclasseshere.(laughterandapplause.)andthistimeofyearbringsadifferentkindofstresseveryseniorstoppingbyglosterhalloverthepastweekmakingsureyournamewasactuallyonthelistofstudentswhometallthegraduationrequirements.(applause.)ifitwasntonthelist,youhadtofigureoutwhy.wasitthatlibrarybookyoulenttothattriflingroommatewhodidntreturnit?(laughter.)wasitdr.johnsonspolicyclass?(applause.)didyougetenoughcrownforumcredits?(applause.) onthatlastpoint,imgoingtoexercisemypoweraspresidenttodeclarethisspeechsufficientcrownforumcreditsforanyotherwiseeligiblestudenttograduate.thatismygraduationgifttoyou.(applause.)youhaveaspecialdispensation. now,graduates,iamhumbledtostandherewithallofyouasanhonorarymorehouseman.(applause.)ifinallymadeit.(laughter.)andasido,immindfulofanoldsaying:“youcanalwaystellamorehouseman(applause)butyoucanttellhimmuch.”(applause.)andthatmakesmytaskalittlemoredifficult,isuppose.butithinkitalsoreflectsthesenseofpridethatsalwaysbeenpartofthisschoolstradition. benjaminmays,whoservedasthepresidentofmorehouseforalmost30years,understoodthattraditionbetterthananybody.hesaidandiquote“itwillnotbesufficientformorehousecollege,foranycollege,forthatmatter,toproduceclevergraduatesbutratherhonestmen,menwhocanbetrustedinpublicandprivatelifemenwhoaresensitivetothewrongs,thesufferings,andtheinjusticesofsocietyandwhoarewillingtoacceptresponsibilityforcorrecting(those)ills.” itwasthatmissionnotjusttoeducatemen,buttocultivategoodmen,strongmen,uprightmenthatbroughtmunityleaderstogetherjusttwoyearsaftertheendofthecivilwar.theyassembledalistof37men,freeblacksandfreedslaves,whowouldmakeupthefirstprospectiveclassofwhatlaterbecamemorehousecollege.mostofthosefirststudentshadadesiretobeeteachersandpreacherstobetterthemselvessotheycouldhelpothersdothesame. acenturyandahalflater,timeshavechanged.butthe“morehousemystique”stillendures.someofyouprobablycameherefrommunitieswhereeverybodylookedlikeyou.othersmayhaveehereinsearchofamunity.andisuspectthatsomeofyouprobablyfeltalittlebitofcultureshockthefirsttimeyoucametogetherasaclassinkingschapel.allofasudden,youwerenttheonlyhighschoolsportscaptain,youwerenttheonlystudentcouncilpresident.youweresuddenlyinagroupofhighachievers,andthatmeantyouwereexpectedtodosomethingmore. thatstheuniquesenseofpurposethatthisplacehasalwaysinfusedtheconvictionthatthisisatraininggroundnotonlyforindividualsuccess,butforleadershipthatcanchangetheworld. dr.kingwasjust15yearsoldwhenheenrolledhereatmorehouse.hewasanunknown,undersized,unassumingyoungfreshmanwholivedathomewithhisparents.andithinkitsfairtosayhewasntthecoolestkidoncampusforthesuitshewore,hisclassmatescalledhim“tweed.”buthiseducationatmorehousehelpedtoforgetheintellect,thediscipline,thepassion,thesoulforcethatwouldtransformamerica.itwasherethathewasintroducedtothewritingsofgandhiandthoreau,andthetheoryofcivildisobedience.itwasherethatprofessorsencouragedhimtolookpasttheworldasitwasandfightfortheworldasitshouldbe.anditwashere,atmorehouse,asdr.kinglaterwrote,where“irealizedthatnobodywasafraid.” notevenofsomebadweather.iaddedonthatpart.(laughter.)iknowitswetoutthere.butdr.wilsontoldmeyouallhadachoiceanddecidedtodoitouthereanyway.(applause.)thatsamorehousemantalking. now,thinkaboutit.forblackmeninthe40sandthe50s,thethreatofviolence,theconstanthumiliations,largeandsmall,theuncertaintythatyoucouldsupportafamily,thegnawingdoubtsbornofthejimcrowculturethattoldyoueverydaythatsomehowyouwereinferior,thetemptationtoshrinkfromtheworld,toacceptyourplace,toavoidrisks,tobeafraidthattemptationwasnecessarilystrong. andyet,here,underthetutelageofmenlikedr.mays,youngmartinlearnedtobeunafraid.andhe,inturn,taughtotherstobeunafraid.andovertime,hetaughtanationtobeunafraid.andoverthelast50years,thankstothemoralforceofdr.kingandamosesgenerationthatovercametheirfearandtheircynicismandtheirdespair,barriershaveetumblingdown,andnewdoorsofopportunityhaveswungopen,andlawsandheartsandmindshavebeenchangedtothepointwheresomeonewholooksjustlikeyoucansomehowetoserveaspresidentoftheseunitedstatesofamerica.(applause.) sothehistoryweshareshouldgiveyouhope.thefutureweshareshouldgiveyouhope.youregraduatingintoanimprovingjobmarket.yourelivinginatimewhenadvancesintechnologyandmunicationputtheworldatyourfingertips.yourgenerationisuniquelypoisedforsuccessunlikeanygenerationofafricanamericansthatcamebeforeit. butthatdoesntmeanwedonthaveworkbecauseifwerehonestwithourselves,weknowthattoofewofourbrothershavetheopportunitiesthatyouvehadhereatmorehouse. introubledneighborhoodsallacrossthiscountrymanyofthemheavilyafricanamericantoofewofourcitizenshaverolemodelstoguidethem.communitiesjustacouplemilesfrommyhouseinchicago,munitiesjustacouplemilesfromheretheyreplaceswherejobsarestilltooscarceandwagesarestilltoolow;whereschoolsareunderfundedandviolenceispervasive;wheretoomanyofourmenspendtheiryouthnotbehindadeskinaclassroom,buthangingoutonthestreetsorbroodingbehindajailcell. myjob,aspresident,istoadvocateforpoliciesthatgeneratemoreopportunityforeverybodypoliciesthatstrengthenthemiddleclassandgivemorepeoplethechancetoclimbtheirwayintothemiddleclass.policiesthatcreatemoregoodjobsandreducepoverty,andeducatemorechildren,andgivemorefamiliesthesecurityofhealthcare,andprotectmoreofourchildrenfromthehorrorsofgunviolence.thatsmyjob.thosearemattersofpublicpolicy,anditisimportantforallofusblack,whiteandbrowntoadvocateforanamericawhereeverybodyhasgotafairshotinlife.notjustsome.notjustafew.(applause.) butalongwithcollectiveresponsibilities,wehaveindividualresponsibilities.therearesomethings,asblackmen,wecanonlydoforourselves.therearesomethings,asmorehousemen,thatyouareobligedtodoforthosestillleftbehind.asmorehousemen,younowwieldsomethingevenmorepowerfulthanthediplomayoureabouttocollectandthatsthepowerofyourexample. sowhatiaskofyoutodayisthesamethingiaskofeverygraduatingclassiaddress:usethatpowerforsomethinglargerthanyourself.liveuptopresidentmaysschallenge.be“sensitivetothewrongs,thesufferings,andtheinjusticesofsociety.”andbe“willingtoacceptresponsibilityforcorrecting(those)ills.” iknowthatsomeofyoucametomorehousefrommunitieswherelifewasaboutkeepingyourheaddownandlookingoutforyourself.maybeyoufeellikeyouescaped,andnowyoucantakeyourdegreeandgetthatfancyjobandthenicehouseandthenicecarandneverlookback.anddontgetmewrongwithallthosestudentloansyouvehadtotakeout,iknowyouvegottoearnsomemoney.withdoorsopentoyouthatyourparentsandgrandparentscouldnotevenimagine,nooneexpectsyoutotakeavowofpoverty.butiwillsayitbetraysapovertyofambitionifallyouthinkaboutiswhatgoodsyoucanbuyinsteadofwhatgoodyoucando.(applause.) so,yes,gogetthatlawdegree.butifyoudo,askyourselfiftheonlyoptionistodefendtherichandthepowerful,orifyoucanalsofindsometimetodefendthepowerless.sure,gogetyourmba,orstartthatbusiness.weneedblackbusinessesoutthere.butaskyourselveswhatbroaderpurposeyourbusinessmightserve,inputtingpeopletowork,ortransforminganeighborhood.themostsuccessfulceosiknowdidntstartoutintentjustonmakingmoneyrather,theyhadavisionofhowtheirproductorservicewouldchangethings,andthemoneyfollowed.(applause.) someofyoumaybeheadedtomedicalschooltobeedoctors.butmakesureyouhealfolksinunderservedmunitieswhoreallyneedit,too.forgenerations,certaingroupsinthiscountryespeciallyafricanamericanshavebeendesperateinneedofaccesstoquality,affordablehealthcare.andasasociety,werefinallybeginningtochangethat.thoseofyouwhoareundertheageof26alreadyhavetheoptiontostayonyourparentshealthcareplan.butallofyouareheadingintoaneconomywheremanyyoungpeopleexpectnotonlytohavemultiplejobs,butmultiplecareers. sostartingoctober1st,becauseoftheaffordablecareactotherwiseknownasobamacare(applause)youllbeabletoshopforaquality,affordableplanthatsyoursandtravelswithyouaplanthatwillinsurenotonlyyourhealth,butyourdreamsifyouaresickorgetinanaccident.butweregoingtoneedsomedoctorstomakesureitworks,too.wevegottomakesureeverybodyhasgoodhealthinthiscountry.itsnotjustgoodforyou,itsgoodforthiscountry.soyouregoingtohavetospreadthewordtoyourfellowyoungpeople. whichbringsmetoasecondpoint:justasmorehousehastaughtyoutoexpectmoreofyourselves,inspirethosewholookuptoyoutoexpectmoreofthemselves.weknowthattoomanyyoungmeninourmunitycontinuetomakebadchoices.andihavetosay,growingup,imadequiteafewmyself.sometimesiwroteoffmyownfailingsasjustanotherexampleoftheworldtryingtokeepablackmandown.ihadatendencysometimestomakeexcusesformenotdoingtherightthing.butoneofthethingsthatallofyouhavelearnedoverthelastfouryearsistheresnolongeranyroomforexcuses.(applause.) iunderstandtheresamonfraternitycreedhereatmorehouse:“excusesaretoolsoftheinpetentusedtobuildbridgestonowhereandmonumentsofnothingness.”well,wevegotnotimeforexcuses.notbecausethebitterlegacyofslaveryandsegregationhavevanishedentirely;theyhavenot.notbecauseracismanddiscriminationnolongerexist;weknowthosearestilloutthere.itsjustthatintodayshyperconnected,hyperpetitiveworld,withmillionsofyoungpeoplefromchinaandindiaandbrazilmanyofwhomstartedwithawholelotlessthanallofyoudidallofthementeringtheglobalworkforcealongsideyou,nobodyisgoingtogiveyouanythingthatyouhavenotearned.(applause.) nobodycareshowtoughyourupbringingwas.nobodycaresifyousufferedsomediscrimination.andmoreover,youhavetorememberthatwhateveryouvegonethrough,itpalesinparisontothehardshipspreviousgenerationsenduredandtheyovercamethem.andiftheyovercamethem,youcanoverethem,too.(applause.) younowhailfromalineageandlegacyofimmeasurablystrongmenmenwhoboretremendousburdensandstilllaidthestonesforthepathonwhichwenowwalk.youwearthemantleoffrederickdouglassandbookert.washington,andralphbuncheandlangstonhughes,andgeorgewashingtoncarverandralphabernathyandthurgoodmarshall,and,yes,dr.martinlutherking,jr.thesemenweremanythingstomanypeople.andtheyknewfullwelltherolethatracismplayedintheirlives.butwhenitcametotheirownacplishmentsandsenseofpurpose,theyhadnotimeforexcuses. everyoneofyouhaveagrandmaoranuncleoraparentwhostoldyouthatatsomepointinlife,asanafricanamerican,youhavetoworktwiceashardasanyoneelseifyouwanttogetby.ithinkpresidentmaysputitevenbetter:hesaid,“whateveryoudo,strivetodoitsowellthatnomanlivingandnomandead,andnomanyettobeborncandoitanybetter.”(applause.) andipromiseyou,whatwasneededindr.maysstime,thatspiritofexcellence,andhardwork,anddedication,andnoexcusesisneedednowmorethanever.ifyouthinkyoucanjustgetoverinthiseconomyjustbecauseyouhaveamorehousedegree,youreinforarudeawakening.butifyoustayhungry,ifyoukeephustling,ifyoukeeponyourgrindandgetotherfolkstodothesamenobodycanstopyou.(applause.) andwhenitalkaboutpursuingexcellenceandsettinganexample,imnotjusttalkingaboutinyourprofessionallife.oneoftodaysgraduates,frederickandersonwheresfrederick?frederick,righthere.(applause.)iknowitsraining,butimgoingtotellaboutfrederick.frederickstartedhiscollegecareerinohio,onlytofindoutthathishighschoolsweetheartbackingeorgiawaspregnant.sohecamebackandenrolledinmorehousetobeclosertoher.prettysoon,helpingraiseanewbornandworkingnightshiftsbecametoomuch,sohestartedtakingbusinessclassesatatechnicalcollegeinsteaddoingeverythingfromdeliveringnewspaperstobuffinghospitalfloorstosupporthisfamily. andthenheenrolledatmorehouseasecondtime.butevenwithajob,hecouldntkeepupwiththecostoftuition.soaftergettinghisdegreefromthattechnicalschool,thisfatherofthreedecidedtoebacktomorehouseforathirdtime.(applause.)asfredericksays,“godhasaplanformylife,andhesnotdonewithmeyet.” andtoday,frederickisafamilyman,andaworkingman,andamorehouseman.(applause.)andthatswhatimaskingallofyoutodo:keepsettinganexampleforwhatitmeanstobeaman.(applause.)bethebesthusbandtoyourwife,oryoureyourboyfriend,oryourpartner.bethebestfatheryoucanbetoyourchildren.becausenothingismoreimportant. iwasraisedbyaheroicsinglemom,wonderfulgrandparentsmadeincrediblesacrificesforme.andiknowtherearemomsandgrandparentsheretodaywhodidthesamethingforallofyou.butisurewishihadhadafatherwhowasnotonlypresent,butinvolved. didntknowmydad.andsomywholelife,ivetriedtobeformichelleandmygirlswhatmyfatherwasnotformymotherandme.iwanttobreakthatcyclewhereafatherisnotathome(applause)whereafatherisnothelpingtoraisethatsonordaughter.iwanttobeabetterfather,abetterhusband,abetterman. itshardworkthatdemandsyourconstantattentionandfrequentsacrifice.andipromiseyou,michellewilltellyouimnotperfect.shesgotalonglistofmyimperfections.(laughter.)evennow,imstillpracticing,imstilllearning,stillgettingcorrectedintermsofhowtobeafinehusbandandagoodfather.butiwilltellyouthis:everythingelseisunfulfilledifwefailatfamily,ifwefailatthatresponsibility.(applause.) iknowthatwheniamonmydeathbedsomeday,iwillnotbethinkingaboutanyparticularlegislationipassed;iwillnotbethinkingaboutapolicyipromoted;iwillnotbethinkingaboutthespeechigave,iwillnotbethinkingthenobelprizeireceived.iwillbethinkingaboutthatwalkitookwithmydaughters.illbethinkingaboutalazyafternoonwithmywife.illbethinkingaboutsittingaroundthedinnertableandseeingthemhappyandhealthyandknowingthattheywereloved.andillbethinkingaboutwhetherididrightbyallofthem. sobeagoodrolemodel,setagoodexampleforthatyoungbrotheringup.ifyouknowsomebodywhosnotonpoint,gobackandbringthatbrotheralongthosewhovebeenleftbehind,whohaventhadthesameopportunitieswehavetheyneedtohearfromyou.youvegottobeengagedonthebarbershops,onthebasketballcourt,atchurch,spendtimeandenergyandpresencetogivepeopleopportunitiesandachance.pullthemup,exposethem,supporttheirdreams.dontputthemdown. wevegottoteachthemjustlikewhatwehavetolearn,whatitmeanstobeamantoserveyourcitylikemaynardjackson;toshapetheculturelikespikelee;tobelikechesterdavenport,oneofthefirstpeopletointegratetheuniversityofgeorgialawschool.whenhegotthere,nobodywouldsitnexttohiminclass.butchesterdidntmind.lateron,hesaid,“itwasthethingformetodo.someoneneededtobethefirst.”andtoday,chesterisherecelebratinghis50threunion.whereischesterdavenport?heshere.(applause.) soifyouvehadrolemodels,fathers,brotherslikethatthankthemtoday.andifyouhavent,mityourselftobeingthatmantosomebodyelse. andfinally,asyoudothesethings,dothemnotjustforyourself,butdontevendothemjustfortheafricanamericanmunity.iwantyoutosetyoursightshigher.attheturnofthelastcentury,w.e.b.duboisspokeaboutthe“talentedtenth”aclassofhighlyeducated,sociallyconsciousleadersintheblackmunity.butitsnotjusttheafricanamericanmunitythatneedsyou.thecountryneedsyou.theworldneedsyou. asmorehousemen,manyofyouknowwhatitsliketobeanoutsider;knowwhatitsliketobemarginalized;knowwhatitsliketofeelthestingofdiscrimination.andthatsanexperiencethatalotofamericansshare.hispanicamericansknowthatfeelingwhensomebodyasksthemwheretheyefromortellthemtogoback.gayandlesbianamericansfeelitwhenastrangerpassesjudgmentontheirparentingskillsorthelovethattheyshare.muslimamericansfeelitwhentheyrestaredatwithsuspicionbecauseoftheirfaith.anywomanwhoknowstheinjusticeofearninglesspayfordoingthesameworksheknowswhatitsliketobeontheoutsidelookingin. soyourexperiencesgiveyouspecialinsightthattodaysleadersneed.ifyoutapintothatexperience,itshouldendowyouwithempathytheunderstandingofwhatitsliketowalkinsomebodyelsesshoes,toseethroughtheireyes,toknowwhatitslikewhenyourenotbornon3rdbase,thinkingyouhitatriple.itshouldgiveyoutheabilitytoconnect.itshouldgiveyouasenseofpassionandwhatitmeanstooverebarriers.
