武汉理工人学硕士学位论文摘要英语在全世界的广泛传播必然促进其与其他语言的接触，从而引起英语的本土化。除了英国英语和美国英语，世界上还有其他的英语变体如非洲英语，加拿大英语等等。第二次世界大战后，亚洲英语，其中包括新加坡英语和印度英语作为新兴的英语变体逐步发展起来。“中国英语 是英语与中国文化的结合。语言学家们就“中国英语”是否属于英语的地区变体进行了激烈的争论，但存在于报纸、电视节目、杂志和文化交流活动中的大量例子表明了“中国英语”的客观存在，而且在跨文化交流中“中国英语 的广泛使用也证明了“中国英语 的可接受性和可行性。作为一个实证性的研究，本文从中国第一个也是最具有影响力的英文报纸一中国日报上收集了第一手资料，论证了中国日报中的“中国英语”特征的代表意义并对“中国英语 进行了详细而全面的描述。以往的研究一般都是根据研究的需要找例证，本文与此不同的是对收集来的材料进行分类和研究。作者列出了“中国英语所有可能涵盖的领域，探讨了所收集到的所有“中国英语的构成方式并且总结了“中国英语 的特色，其中不仅包括积极方面也包括消极方面。在此基础上，本文进一步证明了“中国英语 的客观存在，并指出“中国英语”目前还处于发展的初级阶段，需要专家学者进一步的观察和研究。全文一共由五部分组成：第一章介绍了本文的研究背景，数据收集，本文的研究目的及意义。第二章追溯了英语的发展历史和对世界英语进行简单介绍并列出了世界英语的三种重要分类。本章还回顾了英语在中国的发展传播历史，对英语在中国发展的各个阶段进行了探讨并总结了对“中国英语”的研究历史和现状。第三章对从中国日报上收集的“中国英语
