言语行为理论与大学英语教学 学科专业：英语语言文学 指导教师：陈治安教授 研究方向：语言学与现代英语 研究生：叶红英 内容摘要 语言是人类交际的工具。语言教学的最终目的是使学习者通过使用语言有效而 得体地进行交际。学习一门语言就是培养该门语言的语用能力的过程。大学英语教 学的目的是培养学生的交际能力。然而，目前的大学英语教学并不令人满意。普遍 存在注重语言形式、忽略语言功能的现象，注重知识的传授，而忽略学习者能力的 培养。结果，有相当多的学生即使有较强的语言能力，也无法有效而得体地进行交 际，语用失误的现象常常发生。鉴于此，本文着重探讨如何运用语用学中的言语行 为理论，改革大学英语教学中偏重知识吸收、忽略语言运用能力培养的倾向，提出 改革考试制度的设想，从而增强学生的跨文化意识，提高学生的交际能力。 旨语行为理论是英国哲学家奥斯汀( a u s t i n ) 在二十世纪五十年代提出来的。 在二十世纪六、七十年代，塞尔( s e a r l e ) 对奥斯汀的理论加以发展和系统化，认 为言语行为是构成社会交际的基本因素。言语行为理论从功能的角度来描写语言， 强调语言在实际交际中的使用。这就为交际教学法奠定了理论基础，因为交际教学 法强调教学的目的是培养学生的语言交际能力。言语行为理论成为了语用学的重要 理论之一。根据目前我国大学英语教学的实际情况，我们认为要实现大学英语教学 的目标，改变目前大学英语教学中的不足，应以言语行为理论为指导，结合交际教 学法的特点，采用相互交流的方法，培养学生实际运用语言的能力0 ，、 ，o 全文共分六章。 第一章，引言。阐述本文的内容概要及本研究的目的。 第二章，综述言语行为理论，论述了言语行为理论的由来和发展，评价奥斯汀
