产。中国古典诗歌的独特魅力来自于其精炼的语言，深刻的内容以及优美的节 奏和韵律。这也是其吸引了无数中外读者的主要原因。 翻译是把一种语言或文字表达的东西用另一种语言忠实表现出来的实践活 动，这可以说是一项艰巨的任务。而汉语语言的特点和中国古诗的写作风格更增 加了翻译上的难度。尽管中国古诗翻译工作既困难又复杂，但是仍然有越来越多 的学者和翻译家积极地投身于这份艰难的事业当中，贡献着自己的一份力量。 在中国古诗可译性理论的基础上，本文试图从言语行为理论的角度出发， 系统地研究和分析中国古诗的翻译。其目的在于从言语交际行为的层面来探究古 诗翻译的原则和标准问题。 本文首先从言语行为理论的概况入手，介绍了这理论的形成以及言语行为 的三个方面，以此作为其应用于古诗翻译研究的理论基础和前提。紧接着又从语 言学方法在翻译中的应用及发展方面论证了此项研究具备一定的实践基础。虽然 语言学界与翻译界在语言学理论是否有助于翻译研究的发展这一问题上存在分 歧，然而不可否认的是，这二者之间相互影响，相互促进，互不可少。值得一 提的是，在翻译的语言学研究的原则和标准中，等效原则和翻译步骤这两点的提 出都有助于论证言语行为理论在翻译中应用的可行性。 然而，具体谈到言语行为理论在中国古诗翻译当中的应用问题，那就不能不 联系到近年来古诗翻译理论和实践的发展和现状。中国古诗的独特性主要体现在 语言、意象和音律这三个方面，从而这也决定了其翻译上的艰巨性。与此同时， 中国古诗的可译性与不可译性的问题一直以来都是翻译界最具争议的话题。但最 终为大多数人一致认同的观点是，中国古诗的可译性实际上就是在翻译中把握 “度的问题。因此，本文就翻译的原则和标准进行讨论和分析，最后得出结 论是：许渊冲先生的“三美”原则可被视为古诗翻译的理想目标，而刘重德先生 的“信、达、切”则更适合作为古诗翻译的基本原则和标准。 在探讨了言语行为理论对中国古诗翻译的启发性的基础上，本文从言语行为 理论出发提出了针对中国古诗翻译的三条原则，分别为：译语与源语在言内行为、 v i i i 2 0 0 8 年上海大学硕士学位论文 t h ea p p l i c a t i o no fs p e e c ha c tt h e o r yt ot h et r a n s
