i o n 1 j l 摘要 华裔美国作家伍惠明出生在旧金山唐人街的一个华裔移民家庭，后来进入 哥伦比亚大学就读，并于1 9 8 4 年取得文科硕士学位。她花了十年多的时i 日j 完成 了小说骨，小说主要是基于旧金山唐人街移民家庭几代人和伍惠明本人的生 活经历。自骨出版后在评论界受到了广泛的关注，作者通过一个中国移民 家庭在美国的艰辛生活，向我们展现了在美华裔的真实生活。美国著名作家罗 斯勒布朗评价伍惠明的骨具有厚重的历史观。国内外学者多从小说中大 女儿莱拉的身份认同，或者从女性主义视角分析小说中的母女关系，夫妻关系 等。 华裔美国男性在美国社会中一直处于被消声的状态，他们被美国社会描述 成“苦力 ，“懒骨头 “少数族裔的模范”。这种对于华裔男性所形成的刻板印 象给他们在美国的生活造成了巨大的负面影响。所以对美国华裔作家来讲，还 华裔男性及他们被边缘化的家庭和社区以本来面目成为华裔作家创作的当务之 急。本论文是通过文本细读并结合在美华裔的历史对小说骨主要男性人物 进行分析，探讨小说对于美国华裔男性刻板印象的解构及对华裔男性形象的重 构。通过莱拉祖父在美国的奋斗和他对美国社会发展的贡献和父亲里昂在美国 社会的艰苦奋斗解构美国社会把他们看作苦力和模范族裔的刻板印象，从而重
