摘要 ( 清) 钱大昕音韵回答说：“声音在文字之先，而文字必假声音以成，综 其要，无过叠韵双声二端”( 陈光磊，1 9 9 8 ：6 7 ) 。 从魏晋时陆机的文赋到南 北朝时刘勰的文心雕龙，都强调文学创作时应当运用声律音韵。语言特征在 某种程度上决定了某个时期的文学形式。当然，文学主题及其形式要受到时代需 求的约束。 头韵在文学舞台上，尤其在古英语中曾有过光辉灿烂时期，迄今仍受到文学 创作者的喜爱。作为一种语音模式，头韵可以启示意义，引发人们对某种事物的 联想。 语音象征常被用作一种富于表现力的形象手段，它和文学，尤其是诗学紧密 相关。头韵的功能还体现在保持词汇连贯、影响节奏和生成文章的语调等方面。 在意义的表达上，头韵的辅助作用表现为：使句子简明、生动、渲染对比、 突出重点、加深印象等方面。 语音作用构成翻译中的一道障碍，但这并不表明无法对它们进行翻译。作为
