山东大学硕士学位论文 摘要 学习者自主概念自被介绍到国内以来，受到研究人员和语言教师的极大关注。 2 0 0 4 年试行的大学英语课程要求明确将培养学生的自主能力纳入大学英语教学目 标，这意味着大学英语教师应在教学法、课程内容以及语言学习和教学理论方面都要 作出重大转变。教师如何看待学习者自主对他们的课堂实践将产生不同程度的影响。 然而，不仅在国内而且在海外，教师观念一直是研究者涉猎相对较少的领域。对语言 教师的观念研究，相对于对数学等学科教师观念的研究就更少了。本文认为大学英语 教师只有首先转变观念才有可能帮助学生实现自主，因此，本研究以山东某城市的四 所高校为例，调查了大学英语教师面对教学改革和实施新课程要求的新形势所持有的 自主学习观念的总体情况。 一 这一研究属描述性研究。使用了通过问卷调查和小组访谈获得的定量和定性数据 分析来实现研究目的。具体来讲，在大学英语教学改革的背景下，作者首先调查了 1 2 1 位大学英语教师现阶段所拥有的自主学习观念总体情况；与此同时，采用了数学 统计程序来揭示这些教师的观念与课堂教学行为之间是否存在相关t 鉴于在培养学生 自主能力时，教师和学生的观念差别有可能成为严重的障碍( n u n a n , 1 9 8 8 a ) ，作者 又进而比较了1 2 1 位教师和3 0 5 名学生在涉及英语学习的6 个关键问题上是否存在观 念上的相近或不同之处。 结果表明，这些教师在课堂教学中确实受到某些观念的影响而采取不同的教学行 为。但是，教师的总体观念情况并不十分乐观，主要表现在教师尽管吸收了某些新的 观念，同时在教学实践中也有一定程度的改变，但很多教师并不是很清楚地知道如何 将培养学生的自主能力实际融合到教学实践中。本研究在教师的观念和教学行为上发 现了弱相关。教师观念中提取的九个因子中，有三个因子通过数学统计分析被确定为 具有显著意义的影响教师课堂教学的预测变量；在六个涉及语言学习的关键问题上， 被调查的教师和学生中既发现了观念上的相似，也表现出了在某些问题上的极大分 歧，卡方检验表明教师和学生在有些问题项目上表现出了显著意义上的分歧 们对现阶段实施学习者自主不能过于乐观。培养学习者自主，需要教师在观念上和教 学技能上有充分的准备才能保证教学改革和课程实施的成功。学习者策略培训、教师 课堂教学和学生课外学习的链接，以及教师实施新课程的灵活程度都是应该有待于解 决和研究的方面。 作者希望本研究对了解大学英语教师的语言学习观念能提供一些实证依据。同时 也认为，在全国范围内推行教学改革以及大规模地实施新大纲需要我们对教师观念的
