摘要 作为- - i - 1 阐释交际的语用学理论，关联理论由巴黎大学的斯波 伯和伦敦大学的威尔逊共同提出。该理论主要观点见于他俩合著的 关联：交际与认知一书。关联论的影响现在已远远超出了语用学 领域。它成了当前指导语用翻译的新论。威尔逊的学生格特出版了专 著翻译与关联：认知与语境，提出了关联翻译理论。 关联论认为，要正确理解自然语言达到成功交际，就要在接受自 然语言信息的过程中通过语境来寻找信息的最佳关联。作为指导交际 的认知理论关联论对翻译有着极强的解释力，所以格特看出它可以用 来描写翻译。这种努力建立在这样一种前提之上，即人类推理表达意 义的能力可以根据关联原则来进行描述，这种关联原则可定义为以最 少的认知努力获取最大的认知效果。格特认为翻译是一种解释性行 为，译文就是在解释性方面寻求与原文相似，同时翻译行为受关联原 则制约。寻找关联的过程，是一个认知与推理的过程，是一个付出努 力的过程。在关联理论的框架内，翻译是一个对原语进行阐释的动态 的明示一推理的过程。关联理论的翻译观对翻译的解释是动态的，辨 证的，它能以关联性抓住翻译的本质，对翻译实践有着积极的指导意 义。 凯利和茅国权的译本作为围城第一个面世的英译本，有得也 有失，其得失为我们在以后的汉译英文学作品中可作为借鉴。我们在 关联理论的指导下借用相关概念对围城英译本从四个方面进行了 研究：第一章借用关联论中百科信息的概念主要对英译本的注释进行 了探讨，并附带讨论了其他辅助手段。第二章依据关联论中语境效果 的概念讨论了英译本中创造性叛逆的现象。第三章运用关联翻译论中 重要概念直接翻译的概念讨论了英译本中隐喻的翻译。第四章借用关 联翻译论中对忠实的描述探讨了混合语码的翻译。从而我们确认关联
