摘要 英国斤现代作家约翰福尔斯创作的第一部小说巫术师初现了桶尔斯创作的一势手法 和思想，主人公总是处在不确定、朱知或神秘的状态中( 犹如没有中心，没有出f i 的迷岔) ， 去认识白我、认识世界。该1 5 一出版即人获成功，所引起的反响比其发表的任何作牖部人。 不过，不少读者，甚至部分文学评论家，对作者的意图感剑茫然，认为褊尔斯红跟读者玩智 力游戏( 止如小说中康奇斯戏卉尼占拉斯那样) 。书实上，巫术师属+ r 荣格所认为的幺j 想 型小说，其内容其至不为竹者本人所控制。冈为这类小说的作者接受h , h - 赋予的重托，川集 体的卢音在说话，从而迎合特定时代的精神需要。 较与之对府的心理璀小说，幺j 想型小说更能吸引心理学家。f t 也i l j 认为，作品中个人的尔 越多，也就越不成其为艺术。要想深刻理解幻想型小说，必须求助丁其素材的来源处 集体无意识。本文从原型批评理论出发，分析巫术师中出现的叙述结构原刷、意象原剐、 神话原酗和人物原型，进而挖掘这部作品所蕴含的深刻意义。 文章引言部分，首先简要介纠福尔斯生平和巫术师的创作，其次同顾了国内外学者 对这部小说的研究，接着介绍本文拟使j u 的原型批评理论，最后概述了本文各章内容。 第一章叙述结构原型。原型批评理论集人成者弗莱的研究表明，最初的神话是关丁白我
