教学这一研究转向关注的热点。而且，当前应试教育向素质教育转轨，其主导思想 就是使学生积极投入到学习活动中，独立地、主动地、有效地进行学习。在这一改 革思潮影响下，我国外语教学的目标也增加了新的内容，即外语教学不但要让学生 熟练地掌握听、说、读、写的技能，还要教给学生学习外语的策略。 目前，国内外学者对学习策略进行了广泛的研究，主要包括学习策略的定义、 分类，学习策略的相关研究和学习策略训练几个方面。然而，通过研究“善学语言 者”( g o o dl a n g u a g el e a r n e r ) 的特征并进而推广的学习策略训练，并未达到人们期 望的效果。研究者们发现，学习策略的选择和使用受到诸多内部和外部因素的影响。 尽管已有研究( o x f o r d & n y i k o s ，1 9 8 9 ；s c h m i de ta 1 1 9 9 6 ；o k a d ae ta 1 1 9 9 6 ；w e n ， 2 0 0 1 ) 指出动机是影响学习策略使用的重要因素，但是，对在学校环境中学生学习 的核心动机成就动机( a c h i e v e m e n tm o t i v a t i o n ) 与茔习篡略运用的关系却鲜为 人知。成就动机是指个体力求成功的一种需要或欲望，a t k i n s o n ( 1 9 6 6 ) 认为，每 个人都有两种相互冲突的成就动机倾向，一种是追求成功的动机，一种是避免失败 的动机。此外，进入二十世纪九十年代以来，在我国教育心理学、学习心理学领域， 归因理论研究已成为一个热点课题，并已取得许多研究成果。w e i n e r ( 1 9 8 6 ) 认为 能力、努力、任务的难度和运气是对学习成功或失败进行解释的四种重要因素。学 习归因会影响到学生的期望和情感方面的变化，因而影响学生的成就行为。但是， 目前学习归因在外语界还未引起足够的注意，学生对英语学习成败的归因信念 ( a t t r i b m i o n a lb e l i e f s ) 是否影响学习策略的选择和使用尚待进一步研究。 由于上述原因，本研究通过问卷调查了全国六所高校( 西南师范大学、中国人 民大学、青岛海军潜艇学院、华北理工学院、黄冈师范学院、肇庆学院) 的3 0 7 名 非英语专业的大学生学习英语的情况，旨在为英语学习策略的研究、学习策略的训 练以及外语教学提供重要的依据和启示。该问卷包括四个部分，即：个人简况、 学习策略问卷( o x f o r d ，1 9 9 0 ) 、成就动机量表( t o j e s m e & r n y g a a r d ，1 9 7 0 ) 和多 维度一多归因因果量表( l e f c o u r t ，1 9 8 1 ；l e f c o u r t ，v o nb a e y e r , w a r e & c o x ，1 9 7 9 ) 。调 查结果借助s p s s 统计软件，通过运用描述统计、t 检验、相关分析、多因素方差分 析、多元回归等统计手段，揭示了成就动机和归因对学习策略的选择和使用的影响， 从而为学习策略的多因素分析提供有力的佐证，其研究结果如下： ( 1 ) 就学习策略的分类而言，我国大学生学习英语最常用的策略是补偿策略， 其次是元认知策略，最不常用的是社会策略。三个最常用的单项策略依次为“将单 词读或写几遍加强记忆”、“使用同义词”和“猜测词义”。 ( 2 ) 学习策略的选择和使用是影响我国大学生英语学习成绩的重要因素。大 学生英语四级考试成绩与记忆、认知、元认知和补偿策略呈显著正相关。四级通过 者更多地使用记忆、认知、元认知和情感策略，差异检验达到显著水平。 ( 3 ) 追求成功的成就动机和学习策略的使用存在显著的正相关关系，成就动 机水平影响学习策略的选择和使用，差异检验达到显著水平。 ( 4 ) 学习成败归因与学习策略的使用存在显著的相关关系，将成功归因于能 力、努力、运气和将失败归因为运气的四种成败因果解释，进入回归模式，能预测 学习策略的变化量。 根据以上调查结果，本研究对大学英语教学提出几点建议：( 1 ) 进一步探讨影 响学习策略选择和使用的因素，发现适合个体的学习策略，从而为学习策略的研究 和训练建立良好的理论和实践基础。学习策略的使用有利于培养学生的自学能力， 我国有大量的外语学习者，即使在校学生也由于外语课时少而不得不靠课外独立学 习。探讨影响策略使用的因素，是有效实施学习策略训练的前提和关键。( 2 ) 采取 适当的措施激发学生的成就动机，动机影响行动，从而促进学生在学习过程中运用 适当的学习策略，提高英语学习成绩；( 3 ) 了解学生的归因信念，引导学生正确归 因，改变学生在外语学习中“无能为力”的态度，促进其学习策略的掌握和应用。 本研究尚存许多不足之处，例如：样本量不够大，数据的获得所采用的测量手
