吉尼亚伍尔夫的随笔集飞蛾之死及其他的尝试翻译进行研究。 顺应论是维索尔伦在他的作品u n d e r s t a n d i n gp r a g m a t i c s 正式提出的，意图用一种 崭新的视角和方式来研究语言的使用。维索尔伦认为，语言的使用是一个不断做出选 择的动态过程，既包括语言内部的选择，也包含外部的选择，并且都是不同意识程度 上的选择。根据顺应论，语言有三种重要性质：变异性、协商性和顺应性。而顺应论 对翻译的解读需要从语言使用的四个角度进行研究：语境成分适应、语言结构对象适 应、动态过程顺应和适应过程中的意识突显性。这四个角度恰当地将语言使用过程中 的语言、社会、文化和认知因素结合起来，因此顺应论可以并且适合研究翻译这一复 杂特殊的语言使用过程。本文试图利用顺应论作为理论基础柬研究译者在整个翻译过 程中是如何顺应各种因素做出最终选择的，并最终证实，顺应论对翻译研究具有重要 的意义。 弗吉尼亚伍尔夫是英国现代的知名作家，她以意识流小说成名，也是杰出的批评 家和随笔作家，此外她还是西方倡导女性主义的先驱。本文作者的个人尝试翻译飞 蛾之死及其他选自弗吉尼亚伍尔夫随笔集，在我国，只有这本随笔集的一种译 本。因此作者在前人的基础上对这本书进行重新翻译，并试图结合维索尔伦的顺应轮 对翻译过程中出现的种种问题进行解读。到目前为止，几乎没有人对飞蛾之死及其 他的翻译进行全面系统研究，因此本文作者尝试将据顺应论这一理论框架应用到飞 蛾之死及其他的自己的翻译过程中。 本文包括五个章节。引言部分对本论文的研究背景、目的和全文的基本框架进行 概括。第二章主要介绍顺应论的基本内容。第三章是基于顺应论的翻译研究，本章作
