i n g s ；a e s t h e t i cm e a n i n g s v 摘要 风格可以翻译吗? 这是翻译界多年来争论的问题之一。对于这个问题，无外 乎是两种意见：一种意见认为风格不能翻译，另一种意见认为风格是能够翻译的。 在把语言学引入文学之前，风格概念一直是模糊和抽象的，对于风格翻译的研究 也缺乏科学系统的理论。在小说的翻译实践中，存在的突出问题是“假象等值”， 即译文与原文看上去大致相同，但文学价值或美学意义却相去甚远。 为了更科学的指导翻译实践，本文将应用文学文体学的理论和方法于小说风 格的翻译中。本文主要采用申月对风格的定义，风格即能够产生和加强文章主题 意义和艺术效果的特定语言选择形式。然后运用文学文体学的方法进行分析，探 讨文学文体学在小说风格翻译中的必要性和可行性。文学文体学以阐述具体文本 为目的，探讨作者如何通过对语言的选择来表达和加强主题意义和美学效果。从 对语言形式与主题意义的关系着手探讨，才能很好地把握原文的文体价值所在， 才能在翻译时较大限度地保留原文的风格特征。文学文体学的方法是评价文学翻 译质量的一块试会石。 本文通过运用利奇和肖特的文体分析理论，即从语言学角度对文学文本进行 分析，从而探讨作品如何通过对语言的特定选择来产生和加强主题意义和艺术效 果。张爱玲是当代最重要的作家之一，作为有鲜明个人风格的作家，张爱玲独特 的语言美学是否可在其小说英译本中再现呢? 本文通过对美国学者k a r e l l s k i n g s b u r y 翻译的倾城之恋英译本风格翻译进行分析，从词汇，句法及 修辞三个角度来分析体现主题意义和美学效果的语言形式。通过对这些体现风格 特征的语言形式进行分析，首先是为了进一步证明文学文体学理论对小说风格翻
